Online video conversation platform Seesmic has received $6 million in series B financing co-led by Omidyar Network and Wellington Partners . The new round brings the total funding raised by Seesmic to $12 million.
The funding came after Seesmic’s announcement that it is now supporting threaded video comments .
Loic Le Meur , Seesmic founder and CEO, said that the new financing round gives the company the chance to strengthen its lead in its exciting business segment.
Pierre Omidyar will join the Seesmic board as an observer.
