We’re not sure if this is the real Sony Ericsson Xperia Duo (pictured above) but rumors began circulating today that the photo comes straight from China and shows the phone with it’s 4.5-inch edge-to-edge display while barring a close resemblance to the Xperia Arc.
The phone is believed to have received it’s name because of the dual-core processor it is expected to offer, while users will also notice that the display has been revamped, now offering a modified weather widget and media controls underneath the main dock icons.
The phone is also expected to feature the most recent version of Google Android as Sony Ericsson works to revamp their Android Smartphones, bringing them up-to-date for 2011, an issue they struggled with in 2010 when their phones often released with outdated version of the Google Android OS and led many users to look elsewhere for their Android device needs.
