Rush Limbaugh, the popular conservative radio talk show host, made a “huge” announcement this morning and it had nothing to do with politics- I think.
“Rush Revere,” the self-given nick name of Limbaugh, has started his own sweet tea line Two If By Tea – the name is an apparent twist on the famous line ‘one if by land, and two if by sea’ from Longfellow’s Paul Revere’s Ride .
The sweet tea, which comes four flavors including Original, Diet Original, Raspberry, and Diet Raspberry, is currently only available through the web, which Limbaugh explained was the only fair way to do things as every store wouldn’t carry it. He then quickly pointed out that the If Two By Sea website was up and fully operational.
“Unlike Apple, when we announce a product it’s available that day!”
Why sweet tea?
“We are doing this for the single reason that we love tea, and we want to share it with you,” explained Limbaugh. “The shrink wrap is a work of art,” Rush said. “You’ll save it … along with the bottles.”
According to Mr. Limbaugh a portion of the profits will go to the Marine Corps Law Enforcement Foundation.
