Hip-hop singer Sean Kingston was rushed to the hospital on Sunday after being badly injured during a jet skiing accident, Kingston has been listed in critical condition.
The site Local10.com broke the story saying he had a female passenger onboard his jet ski when it crashed into a bridge.
The accident occurred at approximately 6 PM local time and both Kingston and his unidentified passenger were pulled from the water by a good Samaritan.
Both the driver and his passenger were rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital with Kingston being treated in the trauma ward due to the severity of his injuries, although the extent of those injuries are still unknown.
Speaking to TMZ Kingston’s rep said:
“Sean Kingston was in an accident today. No further details are available at the moment. He and his family thank everyone for the well-wishes.”
It is not believed that alcohol played a part in the accident.
