A month after releasing iOS 11, Apple signed off iOS 10.3.3 and iOS 11. Apple already rolled out two updates, namely, iOS 11.0.1 and iOS 11.0.2 with bug fix updates. It’s not unusual for the tech giant to sign off earlier versions of the firmware, and Apple also did this for earlier releases.
Since Apple already signed off earlier versions of the firmware, this means users who already updated to the latest firmware will not be able to downgrade to iOS 10.3.3 or iOS 11. Those who are using earlier versions of iOS should be careful not to upgrade or else there is no going back.
Apple’s iOS 11 had a wide array of new features such as the new App store and Files app, Do Not Disturb While Driving feature, and a Control Center with the new design. The iOS 11 also had major upgrades for iPad. Unfortunately, the new firmware is has a battery draining issue. To solve problems with iOS 11, Apple rolled out two updates – iOS 11.0.1 and iOS 11.0.2.
The latest firmware update, iOS 11.0.2 is compatible with iPhone 5S, iPad mini 2, and iPod 6th generation and later versions. This update solves the cracking sounds during calls, the bug which hides photos and the broken email attachment for encrypted files. While this update can solve the aforementioned issues, the firmware update is still problematic.
There were no significant updates for iOS 11.0.2 aside from the major fixes outlined above. Hence, Apple users are advised to wait for a more stable version of iOS 11 rather than upgrade to iOS 11.0.2 unless they are experiencing problems that can be solved by upgrading to iOS 11.0.2. There were still a lot of complaints on phone performance and battery life even after the new firmware update was rolled out.

Most Apple users are looking forward to the release of iOS 11.1 which is currently in beta testing. This new firmware will be released together with the iPhone X. This update is expected to have new features and security updates.
Those who experienced issues with the latest firmware downgraded to solve their problems. However, at this time, that solution is no longer possible after Apple signed off iOS 11 and iOS 10.3.3 versions of the firmware .
