Swype is prepping version 3.0 of their mobile app and with that upgrade will come predictive text recognition which the company promises will speed up user input more than their awesome text program already has by allowing users to choose from a horizontal list of word choices, rather than relying on a popup window.
The company also promises that Swype 3.0 will offer a stronger foundation for Honeycomb tablet users by offering resizing options for the Skype keyboard and options to position the keyboard on a tablets display based on user preference.
While some users were able to check out the preview early the company has since removed that preview, noting “We Swyped too soon.”
It’s still unclear when the beta version will be available to the general public.
