Once Upon A Time Season 7 is going to be an entirely new chapter. After the announcement of several cast members not returning, there is some good news about the show. It turns out that fans will see some familiar faces. Also, the showrunners teased information about Hook (Colin O’Donoghue), how he will handle being without Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison), and if the absence of his true love will cause him to go back to his bad ways.

According to TV Line , Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz confirmed that Jennifer Morrison and other departed cast members would return for at least one episode in Season 7.
What about the happy endings that the characters received in the Season 6 finale of Once Upon A Time ? The executive producers explained that they were not so much happy endings, but happy beginnings. The showrunners added that Season 7 will not erase the past six years, saying it is more of a new chapter rather than a complete reset.
As for Hook and Emma, what is going to happen with the disappearance of Emma in OUAT ? That will be explained at the beginning of Season 7, including if “Captain Swan” had any children. In the season premiere, fans will see Hook in Seattle, and he will be in a set of new circumstances. In Once Upon A Time Season 7, Episode 2 , viewers will learn what happened with Colin O’Donoghue’s character. This will include some flashbacks.
However, fans should not be concerned with Hook finding a new love. Kitsis teased that Emma is his soulmate.
“I think that Emma is absolutely Hook’s soulmate, as we saw. The Hook that we all know and love, his eyes are only for Emma.”
Without Hook and Emma together, does this mean that the pirate could return to being bad? Kitsis hinted that there is always that chance, but his good heart prevents him from going all the way back to his villainous ways.
As a bonus OUAT Season 7 spoiler, Dania Ramirez is playing the “new Cinderella.”
