Kate Mara and Jamie Bell, Fantastic Four co-stars, may be the only two people in the universe to walk away from the critically-panned movie feeling good about things. Pictures floating around the internet show Mara and Bell walking and talking together. Some even claim the two have been seen sporting coordinating outfits.
Kate Mara split with her boyfriend of four years, Max Minghella, in 2014. That same year, Bell also split from his wife, Evan Rachel Wood. This is one couple some would love to see together. Glamour Magazine is placing their stamp of approval on the relationship despite the fact that nothing has been announced. The magazine claims that since the promotional tour began for the Fantastic Four , Mara and Bell have been seen together on a daily basis.
It is not known if this is more than just a close friendship. Kate Mara spoke with Flare Magazine about the camaraderie the cast built during the filming of Fantastic Four .
“The movie is very intense, so the set was an intense environment. But because of our dynamic, there was a lot of joking around. When you’re having to emote a certain kind of energy and vibe all day, you need to joke around to let off some steam.”
Although many want this relationship to happen, Kate Mara may be just too busy for a man. Man Down and Captive are both in post-production at this time. Captive is the story of a single mother struggling with drug addiction who is taken hostage by a man on the run from the law. It is scheduled to be released on September 18. Man Down is a post-apocalyptic thriller about a U.S. Marine trying to locate his son. It has an October 30 release date.
Mara doesn’t slow down there. She has two movies confirmed in the near future. She is set to star in an episode of the upcoming television series Moonbeam City . She is also rumored to be up for a part in The Girl on the Train . All is not lost, though. Despite the poor reviews and the lackluster performance at the box office, Fantastic Four 2 has been optioned for a possible 2017 release. It would bring Mara and Bell back together.
