Britt Nilsson came on The Bachelorette in hopes of finding her husband. The contestants had to choose whether they wanted Nilsson or Kaitlyn Bristowe to be the woman on the show, and they all appeared very split down the middle. When Britt was not chosen, Brady Toops decided to leave the show and pursue a romance with her instead. The two quickly became a couple, and many wondered if this was meant to be, as Nilsson appeared very happy.
But Britt Nilsson recently revealed a statement saying that she and Brady had broken up. Apparently, the romance had only lasted a few weeks after The Bachelorette began filming, but the two managed to keep their romance a secret. While Britt hasn’t come completely clean as to why they broke up, Toops is now revealing that he is actually quite sad about their split, as he really liked Nilsson.
According to a new Us Weekly report, Britt Nilsson ‘s ex is now revealing that he is sad that they are no longer together, and provides a list of humorous reasons as to why that is the case. No word on whether Nilsson agrees.
“Even though it’s sad that Britt & I are no longer together, I want to thank everyone for all the love & support you’ve shown us. She’s a special girl and deserves nothing but the best. I’m glad we’re still friends (notice the side hug in the pic ). Peace & Love!” he revealed on Instagram, sharing a list of humorous reasons why they are not together.
“1. We had no real celebrity couple mashup name.. Britt(y), Brad(itt). See, there was almost no chance. This was probably the beginning of the end when we realized this,” Toops joked. “2. Britt is afraid of heights, and not only am I afraid of heights, but I’m actually afraid of her being afraid of heights. That obviously couldn’t work,” he revealed about Britt Nilsson.
“3. Once we left the show, they didn’t give us any roses. How are we suppose to figure this thing out without any roses? [for you haters out there, I did actually buy her flowers..]” he wrote. “4. Apparently I needed some more inspiration for my next record, because we all know that break-up records are the records you can’t stop listening to (ex. Sam Smith – “In the Lonely Hour”, Adele – “21”, Coldplay – “Ghost Stories”). Stay tuned,” he added, hinting that Nilsson never gave him a rose.
As for Britt Nilsson, she gave a broader reason, explaining that they simply didn’t work out romantically as she had hoped. Britt added that they were, indeed, still close friends, and would continue to talk to one another. According to the Inquisitr , both had said nothing for months, so maybe it was simply an amicable split.
