Norman Reedus’ beloved character Daryl Dixon hasn’t been lucky in love on The Walking Dead , but there’s talk that the actor has found a leading lady in real life. Reedus was recently photographed at an event with Diane Kruger, who is currently single after ending her longtime romance with Joshua Jackson.
The Walking Dead star and the Inglorious Basterds actress became close while filming the movie Sky together, and the costars are still spending time with each other months after fulfilling their promotional obligations for the film. On Thursday night, Diane Kruger checked out Norman Reedus’ photography exhibition at Galerie Hors-Champs in Paris. Reedus likes to snap photos of roadkill, people wearing weird masks, and other oddities whenever he’s not busy filming The Walking Dead , and he’s even published a book of photographs titled The Sun’s Coming Up… Like a Big Bald Head . The Paris exhibit featured photos from his book.

Diane Kruger and Norman Reedus were photographed together at his exhibit. They wore matching black outfits and posed with their arms around each other, but no pictures showed them getting overly affectionate. People describes Reedus and Kruger as nothing more than friends, but some gossip websites are speculating that the costars have coupled up .
“Yeah, Norman Reedus & Diane Kruger are pretty much officially dating,” Celebitchy wrote.
As the website points out, rumors about something going on between Reedus and Kruger have been circulating for months. Last December, Kruger was accused of cheating on her boyfriend of ten years, Fringe star Joshua Jackson, with The Walking Dead actor. Sources told the New York Daily News that they saw Reedus and Kruger getting extremely affectionate with one another at an East Village dive bar, with one eyewitness saying that the pair “were making out on top of each other, holding hands.” Joshua Jackson was taking a trip around the world at the time.
Sources close to Norman Reedus and Diane Kruger later told Gossip Cop that the accounts of their dive bar make-out session were completely fabricated and that they had just been enjoying a night out with Sky director Fabienne Berthaud. As Lainey Gossip reports, Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson were spotted together a few times after the rumors about Kruger and Reedus began circulating, so it seemed like the couple was doing just fine. However, on July 18, Us Weekly reported that Kruger and Jackson had officially called it quits .
Joshua Jackson appears alongside Norman Reedus and Diane Kruger in Sky , but it’s Reedus who plays Kruger’s love interest in the movie. Kruger’s character is a woman who leaves an unhappy marriage.
“After leaving her husband, the furthest thing from her mind is to be in another love story,” Kruger told Entertainment Tonight of her character.
“But that’s how life works. You find love when you least expect it and with the person you least expect to fall in love with.”
Norman Reedus and Diane Kruger interviewed each other for BuzzFeed back in April, and Norman revealed that one of the reasons he signed on for Sky before reading the movie’s screenplay was because he knew that Diane was going to be starring in it. He described his costar as “a dream” during an interview with People , and Diane also praised Norman’s laid-back personality .
“He’s so relaxed. He’s really easygoing, very gentle,” Kruger said.
This wouldn’t be the first time Norman Reedus has sparked dating rumors by simply hanging out with a costar. Last summer, Reedus’ rep told TMZ that he wasn’t romantically involved with The Walking Dead actress Emily Kinney after she was photographed having dinner with her former costar at a Georgia eatery.
According to E! News , Reedus’ only confirmed relationships have been with two models. The 47-year-old actor has a son with supermodel Helena Christensen, 47, and he dated Cecilia Singley in 2013 when she was just 20 years old. Kruger, 40, is a former model, so she might be Reedus’ type.
