United States President Donald Trump continued his escalating feud with musician Bruce Springsteen, ripping the “Glory Days” singer in a lengthy Truth Social post on Thursday morning.
Springsteen turned heads earlier this week when he made multiple political speeches in Minneapolis on the first night of his “Land of Hope and Dreams American Tour.” A longtime vocal critic of the Trump administration, Springsteen said that American values are being challenged, specifically citing the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
Minneapolis was the site of repeated protests for several months amid Operation Metro Surge, a DHS operation that resulted in the arrests of thousands of illegal immigrants, as well as the deaths of two civilians.
“While working Americans struggle, our president and his family enrich themselves by billions of dollars trading on the people’s office in corruption unmatched in American history,” Springsteen told the Target Center crowd. “This is happening now.”

Trump fired back, writing that Springsteen resembles a “dried up prune” and suffers from a “horrible and incurable case of Trump Derangement Syndrome.”
“The guy is a total loser who spews hate against a President who won a Landslide Election, including the popular vote, all Seven Swing States, and 86% of the Counties across America,” Trump wrote.
Trump added, “MAGA SHOULD BOYCOTT HIS OVERPRICED CONCERTS, WHICH SUCK. SAVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY.”

At one point during his performance, Springsteen accused Trump and his administration of destroying America’s reputation.
“To many, we are no longer looked upon as an often imperfect but strong defender of democracy standing for the global good,” Springsteen said. “We are no longer the land of the free and the home of the brave. We are now, to many, America the reckless, unpredictable, predatory rogue nation. That is this administration’s and this President’s legacy. This is happening now.”
The 76-year-old Springsteen also blasted Attorney General Pam Bondi, who he claims is working to protect Trump and cover up his actions. Meanwhile, Pam Bondi has been fired as Attorney General, Donald Trump confirmed in a social media post on Thursday. Todd Blanche will step in to serve as Acting Attorney General
NBC News had previously reported on Thursday morning that Trump has grown increasingly frustrated with Bondi, with sources telling the network that the two had a “heated confrontation” at the White House last week.
Trump firing Bondi follows the March reassignment of then-Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem. Noem, who held the position for 14 months, became the first Special Envoy for the Shield of the Americas.
