With a subtle Mar-a-Lago touch, the couple shared their news while attending Donald Trump’s New Year’s Eve celebration at his Florida resort. The two were dressed in black, and Katie cradled her prominent baby bump in a photo that has since drawn millions of likes and comments.
However, the pregnancy announcement quickly became the focus of online scrutiny and trolling. Much of the reaction centered on the Millers’ controversial association with Tesla owner Elon Musk, which became a topic of debate among social media users. The commentary grew increasingly hostile, with some users questioning the paternity of the unborn child. Online speculation has circulated alleging that the podcaster had a beyond-the-office relationship with her former multimillionaire boss, Elon Musk.
To put the situation in context, Katie was appointed to President Trump’s Intelligence Advisory Board in February but announced her resignation by June. She then joined Elon Musk full time, after he had already experienced a major public fallout with Donald Trump. Shortly afterward, the world’s richest man unfollowed both Katie and Stephen on X. The podcaster continued working with Musk until August, when she launched her own podcast, The Katie Miller Show.

Majority of comments were simply filled with a lot of lewd remarks on Katie’s pregnancy. Many have expressed their doubts about whether the parentage of the soon-to-be-born child lies with Elon Musk himself. A user expressed the same on Reddit and wrote, “Get out the DNA kit.” Another popular conjecture around the matter left many to tag Stephen, Katie and Elon as an example of a ‘throuple’.
Meanwhile, Reed Galen, the co-founder of the anti-MAGA Lincoln Project, also nastily commented on the picture. He re-shared Katie’s post and captioned it as “Elon Musk is at it again, apparently.” Irrespective of the chatter, the Tesla owner is yet to comment on the pregnancy post or even react to Katie’s New Year’s picture.
Amid the scrutiny, one may recall one of Katie’s most-viewed podcast episodes when she spoke with Elon Musk himself. Till now, this one particular video has fetched over 700,000 views, surpassing any other shot by the podcaster. Musk and Miller’s stint during the episode, however, spoke of a very different narrative. Besides some rather cringe moments of conversation between them, there were also some parts where Katie could not help but just fawn over Musk, while describing him to be an inspirational figure she’s come across.

In fact, the 34-year-old even praised her former boss for being a kind-enough employer she had not come across anytime soon. Katie Miller had said, “Everyone always thinks you’re a very difficult person to work for. I think you’re very kind. People think that you are like a very demanding boss. I’ve never heard you yell at any employee.”
Coming back to Katie and Stephen, the duo were married in 2020. They are already parents to their 5-year-old daughter and two more sons.
