Melania Trump visited youngsters at the youngsters’ National Hospital for a patriotic arts and crafts session in the afternoon as part of her responsibilities as First Lady of the United States. When questioned about if she liked her husband’s favorite pastime, golf, while she was with the children, Melania responded, “No, I don’t play golf.”
Melania did, however, mention to the youngster that she had previously participated in the sport. In celebration of Friday’s federal holiday, nine of the hospital’s current patients had the opportunity to sit with the first lady and make patriotic crafts, according to the Daily Mail.
According to the site, the first lady even invited the group to visit her and President Trump at the White House next year as they commemorated the 250th birthday of the United States. Melania says the event will include F-14 flyovers and a fireworks display. Many Democrats have allegedly voiced concerns regarding the former model’s visa, which coincides with the hospital stay.
A campaign to deport Melania has reportedly gained momentum while her husband implements his own mass deportation plans. In light of the President’s intention to deport naturalized people, the petition argues that “it’s only fair that Melania and her parents are on the first boat out.”
This coincides with reports that the Department of Justice has started to deprive naturalized Americans of their citizenship as a priority when they are accused of crimes. The petition was started five months ago, but in the last few days, its number of signatures has increased dramatically, from 100 two days ago to over 3,300 at the time of writing.

Congresswoman Maxine Waters demanded earlier this year that Melania be deported, stating that Trump had to “first look at Melania’s records.” “We don’t know whether or not her parents were documented,” Waters stated at a rally. And perhaps we should just have a look.”
“If he wants to start looking so closely to find those who were born here and their parents were undocumented, maybe he ought to first look at Melania,” she added. Born in Slovenia in 1970, Melania relocated to New York in 1996. She is the United States’ first First Lady to obtain naturalization.

Conspiracy theories over whether or not she had maintained lawful immigration status have frequently been sparked by the lack of clarity surrounding her immigration status prior to receiving her green card in 2001. In 2006, following the birth of her son Barron, Melania became a citizen of the United States.
However, Robert Scott, an immigration attorney based in New York, told Fact Check last year: “There’s really no sound argument that any of Donald’s children are not U.S. citizens.” The 14th Amendment states, “All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and the State wherein they reside.”
As of Thursday, the petition has 6,659 out of 7,000 signatures.
