Aaron Lloyd, 33, was charged with a disturbing matricide case. According to police reports, he confessed to injecting his mother with methamphetamine before beating her to death. The Louisiana man was booked into the St. Landry Parish Jail.
The police reports revealed that the neighbors on Park Circle in Opelousas discovered his mother, Lisa Lloyd’s body in a trash can on Sunday. The discovery was reported to the authorities. Then, the Opelousas Police Department questioned him about the death of his mother.
Later, police made a Facebook post announcing the arrest: “A male subject had admitted to killing his mother and placing her body in a trash can at the location.” The cops said that they later located Aaron at another residence, and he was taken into custody for further questioning.
At the precinct, Aaron confessed that he had indeed murdered his own mother. He reportedly described that he injected Lisa Llyod with methamphetamine and then beat her to death. Although Llyod wasn’t specifically identified as the “male subject” mentioned in the police report, the neighbor who called authorities pointed the finger at him. They claimed that not only did he kill his mother, but he also stowed her dead body in a garbage can.
Later, the garbage can, along with the body, were found underneath the carport of Llyod’s mother’s home on Park Circle. The investigation reports did not reveal the motive behind his alleged murder.
Aaron has since been charged with first-degree murder, aggravated second-degree battery, failure to seek assistance, obstruction of justice, and distribution of schedule II drugs.
