In his wedding invitations, the billionaire business magnate and his fiancée made it clear that instead of giving gifts to their guests, they would be donating to charities that support Venice, Italy.
Because Lauren and Jeff are getting married in Venice, Italy, they will be contributing to the European nation. According to TMZ, their invitation, which GMA first acquired, had a lot of images that represent Venice, such as gondolas and canals. The invitation also featured images of butterflies, birds, and shooting stars.
“We are excited for you to join us! We have one early request: please, no gifts,” Jeff and Lauren penned. The invitation added, “Instead, we’re making contributions in your honor and with gratitude to you for making the journey to celebrate with us in Venice.” The nearly married pair intends to make donations to the Venice International University, CORILA, and the UNESCO Venice Office.
“The orgs are working to safeguard Venice’s heritage, restore the vital lagoon habitats, and support research and education for sustainability,” the corporation said, as reported by TMZ. The invitation also highlights the reasons why Venice was chosen as the wedding location by the future Mr. and Mrs. Bezos.

Il Gazzettino, a local news source, claims that it has been moved to a different location in the city’s Arsenale neighborhood.
According to the Irish Star, it was imperative that the venue be changed since it was “tension-filled,” requiring a site that was “easier to control.”
