President Donald Trump and Melania have been married for almost 20 years now. The two got married after a long engagement and had Barron the next year of marriage. We are sure the couple has had their ups and downs throughout the two decades. Public controversial statements from Donald Trump and his alleged affair were some of the issues. Despite this, the couple managed to stay together.

Recently, Trump answered a reporter’s questions in the Oval Office. During the meeting, the Fox News reporter talked about the infamous moment between French President Emmanuel and his wife, Brigitte Macron.
He was shoved in the face when he got down from an airplane. It looked like the plane’s door was open at the wrong moment. If it had opened a few seconds later, the couple would not have been caught in this embarrassing situation. However, the president kept his cool and smiled when he noticed the door was open.
The White House Correspondent Peter Doocy asked the president for marriage advice–one world leader to another. Trump candidly said, “Make sure the door remains closed.” He had a huge smile on his face while answering the question. This brings attention to the fact that he and Melania have been married for so many years and have never been caught in such an issue.

His sarcastic answer made everyone laugh, but it may be life advice that he has been using himself. We don’t know what goes on behind the door with him and Melania. They may even be messier than they let on.
Moreover, there have been signs that their marriage has been on the rocks for a while now. Melania is often seen ignoring him at events or shoving his hand when he tries to hold it. Many people also assume she wears big hats at events to prevent him from kissing her. Their huge age gaps may also be an issue, along with differences in their personalities.

There has been a cold demeanor between the two when they are in public, even when they are supporting each other. Trump says she does not want to be in the limelight when she skips events with him, but who knows the behind-the-scenes of it.
Melania is not big on public affection anyway. Meanwhile, Trump is trying to keep it amicable between the two. Besides, he is busy with his second term and tariffs, so the two may not have much time to sit and talk about their issues.

However, they have constantly denied the divorce rumors and been by each other’s side when it has mattered the most. Maybe keeping the fights and arguments behind the door has kept them together for this long.
Melania’s not responding publicly to Donald’s hush money trial may have glued the relationship during such a hard time. It also makes sense for Trump to give this advice to the Macrons.
