MAGA supporters would say that Karoline Leavitt is as good a Press Secretary as the White House could ever have. The 27-year-old is the youngest amongst her predecessors, and she continues to take her job very seriously. From defending Donald Trump in front of the world media to backing his bizarre moves, Leavitt has been doing it all.
However, even the “most perfect” White House Press Secretary couldn’t handle some moments better, landing in some great embarrassing situations that would haunt her career, perhaps, forever.

The Time Karoline Leavitt Was Brutally Trolled for Her Guest List Faux Pas
In March 2025, Karoline Leavitt was tasked with announcing the guest list for President Trump’s joint address to Congress. However, she misspoke and said that one of the “everyday American heroes in attendance: would be “Correy Comperatore.” She was referring to the man who lost his life while protecting his family in Butler during Trump’s assassination attempt.
The internet was forgiveless, and people brutally trolled her for such a major mistake. Social media comments were like, “Are they gonna break out the Ouija board mid speech?” or “Was it a plan to have a seance?” and so on. Leavitt was likely trying to mention Comperatore’s family but ended up with an embarrassing moment.
Law and Order Blunder
Probably her biggest slip-up yet: During a press briefing, Karoline said, “We want to restore the Department of Justice to an institution that focuses on fighting law and order.” As one can see, she missed a “for” there, which made it sound like the agency was against “law and order.”

Leavitt has many awkward press briefing moments, and this is one of them. During her live-streamed press conference with Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, viewers complained about glitches and audio quality. The timing of this blip is what created an embarrassing moment for the Press Secretary: Just when Trump’s White House was trying to get adjusted to what Leavitt referred to as “new media.”
Leavitt’s Plan to Help Trump “Blow Up” Signal Group Chat Leak Backfired
When the Signal group chat leak happened, the administration was actively trying to cover it up through various moves, including throwing Leavitt to the wolves. As she faced the world media, she tried to pin the whole thing on “Democrats and their propagandists.” However, it ultimately backfired, and people attacked her for spreading misinformation.
On the internet, many wrote things like, “[Leavitt] doesn’t realize that speaking sternly and loudly does not make you right.”
