Manchester United stars are really frustrated with manager Ruben Amorim after he blamed their bad performance for hundreds of club employees being made redundant. Manchester’s new boss has been pretty candid in his opinion that United’s failure to qualify for the Champions League and bad Premier League form is kind of responsible for club staff losing their jobs.

However, his claims have made some of his stars angry, who believe Ruben Amorim was completely aware of the financial position of the club before he joined mid-season. The statements have given rise to a distance between Ruben and his first-team, who are even adapting to the Portuguese boss’ demanding methods.

An insider said, “If you went into Carrington you would think the players and Amorim are getting on great. But the truth is the players are frustrated for being blamed for the financial problems of the club. However they haven’t challenged the manager as they haven’t yet formed a bond with him. He is clear in what he wants from them on the pitch, and they are trying to implement it.”

The insider added, “But while some of them are fully behind his tactics, they feel that they cannot speak up as Amorim is steadfast in what he wants. “They are doing what they are told, whether they think its right or not…the players feel like they can’t show any displeasure or it will become a problem”

The source claimed that Amorim and Amad Diallo had bonded while captain Bruno Fernandes was a crucial conduit between the manager and the rest of the team. On Wednesday, a post-match interview after United’s stuttering 3-2 win over Ipswich, Fernandes said that Amorim’s philosophy was not yielding the results they wanted yet.

He tells TNT Sports: “Me and H [Harry Maguire] have been here for a while already, so we know that we have to stick to what we’ve been trying to do in training [and] what we’re supposed to do. “It could be that you could feel in moments that it’s not working, but for some reason, the manager wants us to do that – and if he wants us to do that… [the coaches] watch so many games, they prepare themselves [for our matches].

“We have so many staff – not only the ones who came with him but the ones who were already here. “We have great people behind the team to work on that, so if they do that in the right way, we just have to come on the pitch and show it. “As I said, we need to have more confidence [and] be more brave to show our character and our qualities.”

If this was not enough, there was more controversy during the win over Ipswich. After the match, Garnacho went straight down the tunnel after being subbed off. Things go even worse during the victory over Ipswich as Alejandro Garnacho marched straight down the tunnel after being subbed off. Late in the first half, Patrick Dorgu was sent off, and Amorim hooked the 20-year-old Argentine winger.

The boss chose to instantly replace Garnacho with Noussair Mazraoui in order to solidify the defense side of the squad. The decision was booed at Old Trafford by the home crowd and called “garbage” on social media. Garnacho looked really unhappy to be the sacrificial lamb as he went down the tunnel.

Ruben however said, “You are making a connection with Rashford, right? I know, I know. “What I’m saying is I’m going to obviously talk with Garnacho about that [going down the tunnel]. “So I will talk about that if you want in the next press conference.”

After the game, Garnacho posted a mysterious photo of himself on Instagram, looking irritated. Since then, he has posted a more upbeat message. He posted a picture of the group rejoicing after Maguire’s goal, writing, “Very important three points! “Team.”
