Amy Roloff, the Little People, Big World matriarch, had a blast at the recently concluded pumpkin season and she listed down some of the things she learned from the many visitors who came to Roloff Farms and enjoyed the 2017 Pumpkin Patch weekends.
Amy posted series of photos showing how much fun she had during the recent pumpkin season. In most of the photos, Amy is dressed in a costume. In fact, Amy welcomed each Pumpkin Patch weekend in a different wardrobe. She dressed up as a cheerleader, pirate, a jester, and a butterfly. She also donned a black and pink ensemble with a cute print of a poodle. In another photo, Amy is wearing a red, white and blue attire. To complete her patriotic look, Amy brought along the American flag.
Amy expressed how extremely grateful she is for everyone who showed up at Roloff Farms during pumpkin season. While Amy “had a blast” the past month, the 53-year-old grandmother of two learned a lot of things from the farms’ guests.
According to Amy, among the many takeaways from the recent pumpkin season is that many followers of their reality show, Little People, Big World , relate to the Roloff family, which posted for their annual group photo to celebrate the end of this year’s pumpkin season. Amy also mentioned that a number of visitors to the farm were there to celebrate important events and holidays such as birthdays, anniversaries, engagements, and even honeymoons.

Other people were there to bring some much-needed positive energy and hope to their lives as they strive to overcome some unfortunate and trying events. One family, for example, was there for their last trip before the son had to go to a hospice. Amy also previously told of the story of a couple who were there as part of the dying husband’s bucket list .
Amy also said that some of the visitors went to Roloff Farms to celebrate their success over different challenges in their lives. These people, Amy said, got through some kind of trial such as an illness and chose a visit to the farm during pumpkin season as a great way to rejoice.

A lot of the farm’s visitors were there just to have some fun picking pumpkins and enjoying the different activities. Amy said that the visitors ranged from young and old couples, college students, and even military families. Amy also said that most of them were there as part of their family tradition.

Amy ended her post by saying that she is extremely thankful and greatly humbled by the inspiring stories of the family’s followers. She also expressed her excitement for next year’s pumpkin season as she greeted her followers a blessed Thanksgiving, a Merry Christmas and “a wonderful beginning to the New Year.”
