Maci Bookout is currently filming the new season of Teen Mom OG and it sounds like fans have plenty of things to look forward to for the upcoming season, as Catelynn Lowell is renovating her dream home, Farrah Abraham is getting more involved with the adult entertainment industry, and Amber Portwood has found love with a new man. As for Maci, she’s back in Tennessee raising her three children and enjoying married life with Taylor McKinney. But just because she’s a married woman doesn’t mean she isn’t fun. Maci recently shared a brand new look on Instagram.
According to a new Instagram post, Maci Bookout revealed that she had transformed her red long locks into braids close to her head. Her hair has been pulled back so much that she essentially looks bald. Her hairline is also high, which contributes to the bald look. While some people thought she looked hardcore rocker with her new look, as she was also sporting a black choker and showing off her tattoo sleeve, others felt that the look was creepy and just wrong. They missed her older and softer look. In the photo is Catelynn Lowell, who is sporting red hair as well.
“She’s pretty just not with braids,” one person pointed out, while another added, “Not a good look. Kind of creepy. Like an alien.”
One can imagine that Maci Bookout just wanted to try something new when it comes to her look. She’s currently in Los Angeles doing a guest appearance on the Teen Mom 2 reunion special. Rumor has it that she’s there to support Chelsea DeBoer, as they are both dealing with ex-boyfriends who have drug problems. One can imagine that Bookout can provide her with some advice. No word on why Catelynn was there with her, but it wasn’t Catelynn who had done her hair. In her Instagram post, Bookout gave a shoutout to a man named Miguel Mata for the look. While her fans may not be big fans of her braids, it seems harsh to call her an alien.
