President Donald Trump got a surprise when meeting with GOP Senators for a weekly meeting. As seen in the below video, Ryan Clayton of Americans Take Action began yelling “Trump is treason!” in the wake of President Trump walking by Clayton, who was hidden among other journalists taking photos of Trump and others. Ryan was taken into custody by police after Clayton tossed a bunch of Russian flags on the ground as Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and President Trump walked by the group of media personnel.
According to Google, treason is defined primarily as the act of a person betraying their own country.
“The crime of betraying one’s country, especially by attempting to kill the sovereign or overthrow the government.”
The Republican Senate Policy Luncheon was held at the U.S. Capitol on Tuesday, October 24, but Ryan added the element of surprise to the arrival of the politicos when Clayton began yelling about Trump equaling treason. Initially, folks in the crowd began trying to silence Ryan before authorities reached out to Clayton and removed him from the premises. The below video shows Ryan repeating his name for reporters, as photographers recorded the action live. As Clayton threw the flags in the wake of Trump walking by, Ryan yelled that Congress shouldn’t be talking about tax cuts, but instead, they should be talking about treason. Ryan claimed that Russia stole the election for Trump.

Reporters were attempting to ask Trump about his war of words with Senator Bob Corker when Ryan’s outburst occurred. As seen in the next photo, Clayton stood directly behind Corker earlier in the morning.
Trump was scheduled to discuss forthcoming legislation with the senators, but the melee created by Ryan was an unexpected plot point that shifted the attention away from Trump and the proposed GOP tax cuts and reform momentarily.

Ryan was interviewed on The Young Turks , with Clayton being the guy famous for handing out Russian flags with Trump’s name on them at CPAC and encouraging people to wave the flags prior to the flags being taken away. The Americans Take Action website urges people to impeach Trump in order to “save democracy in America.” The website claims that with President Trump in the White House, “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness are under attack.”
