Alexandra Hedison is moving from one famous Hollywood power player to another.
The actress and photographer has just dating Jodie Foster, and the two have been seen out a number of times.
This isn’t the first high-profile relationship for Hedison. Years ago, Hedison dated comedian Ellen DeGeneres.
Hedison and DeGeneres connected in 2001, shortly after the talk show host broke up with actress Anne Heche. They dated for another three years, breaking up when Ellen left Alexandra for Portia de Rossi.
But that was long ago, and Alexandra Hedison now appears to be getting serious with Jodie Foster. The two were seen sharing a meal together in Los Angeles, with Foster eating food from her girlfriend’s plate.
“It’s pretty serious,” a source told E! Online of Foster and Hedison. “They’re totally in love.”
This is the first relationship for Foster since her famous “coming out” speech at the Golden Globe Awards. While giving an acceptance speech for the Cecil B. DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award, Foster spoke about the “love of her life,” her ex-partner Cydney Bernard. Though the two have broken up, they are still raising their children Charles and Kit together.
In the speech Foster admitted that it wasn’t a true “coming out” since so many people around her knew already.
“This is not going to be a big coming out speech tonight because I already did my coming out about a thousand years ago back in the stone age,” she said. “In those very quaint days when a fragile girl would open up to trusted friends and family and coworkers and then gradually proudly to everyone who knew her.”
Alexandra Hedison is a contemporary photographer, famous for her work capturing abstract landscapes. She has also worked in Hollywood, making acting appearances in a number of television shows including Melrose Place and Nash Bridges . Her father, David Hedison, was also an actor who starred in the 1958 horror movie The Fly and also played Felix Leiter in two James Bond movies.
