Russia Vs Aliens? Military Admits Space Troops Would Lose To Extraterrestrials

The Russian military has confirmed that their space troops are ill equipped to handle an alien attack.

Despite their illustrious and impressive name, this ensemble of wannabe intergalactic warriors aren’t yet in a position to deal with an alien invasion. That’s if the extraterrestrials ever decide to get off of their lazy behinds and venture down to our planet.

A Russian defense official was forced to make the statement after a journalist made an inquiry about the security’s current position.

At a media conference at the Titov Main Test and Space Systems Control Center, near Moscow, a panel was asked if Russia’s space troops would be able to go toe-to-toe with extraterrestrials if they landed on Earth.

Sergey Berezhnoy , the deputy chief of Russia’s main satellite control center, was far from convincing with his response, admitting, “So far we are not capable of that. We are unfortunately not ready to fight extraterrestrial civilisations.”

He then added that there is a reason why they won’t be able to live up to the task their name suggests they should excel at. The deputy chief explained that they hadn’t been asked to prepare for such an alien attack.

Berezhnoy went on to tell the reporter, “Out center was not tasked with it. There are too many problems on Earth and near it.”

Russia’s space troops were created back in 2011, and one of their main duties included controlling outer space through the use of anti-missile defense, and strategically placed anti-aircraft warfare.

Russian Aerospace Defence Troops, which is their full title, run Titov space center. They currently number around 1,000 officers and soldiers, and are in control of the country’s primary military and commercial satellite control facility. From this location, which is 40 kilometres from Moscow, they launch ballistic missiles and spacecraft.

Should Russia’s space troops be prepared for an alien attack?
