Lacey Chabert may be a few years older than her high school self, but the actress is still totally fetch.
The Mean Girls actress recently stripped down to some lingerie for the November cover of Maxim. Chabert, now 31, talked to the magazine about what it was like being a star at such a young age.
Chabert, like LIndsay Lohan, saw a huge burst in popularity after the movie Mean Girls. But that wasn’t Chabert’s first role. She also played Claudia on the show Party of Five when she was just 12-years-old.
The actress said that she was able to avoid some of the common childhood actor pitfalls thanks to her “over-protective” family.
Chabert said : “Look, life is tough, and growing up in this business is especially tough… I really can’t take any credit other than saying I grew up in a really protective family.”
It’s been nearly 10 years since the release of Mean Girls, but Lacey Chabert is still known as her character Gretchen Wieners.
Chabert said : “People tweet me all the time, ‘Are you still trying to make ‘fetch’ happen?’ I never thought people would still be quoting ‘Mean Girls’ 10 years later.”
