A woman once hired by Donald Trump to arrange the nuptials of son Eric Trump and his then-fiance in 2016, now reportedly holds the proverbial keys belonging to the mass of New York State residents who depend on the benefits of federal housing to survive.

The New York Daily News reports that the elected leader of America officially swore in Lynne Patton as the head of the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development’s Region II program on Wednesday; a position that, incidentally, will give Patton the reins behind the billions of taxpayer dollars doled out annually to public housing authorities, such as the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) and other residential collectives in New Jersey, that cover rental vouchers and “block grants that fund housing inspections and senior citizen programs.”

Patton’s personal ties to the current first family are said to stretch back to 2009, when she was first hired by Trump to become the former reality personality’s “family event planner.”

From there, Patton went on to be named vice president of Eric’s controversial charity, the Eric Trump Foundation, in 2011 to January of this year, prior to the start of the organization and Eric Trump being investigated, as Forbes notes , by state Attorney General Eric Schneiderman on alleged business deals that reportedly violate non-profit laws.

Media sources were also able to seek out Patton’s LinkedIn account, which notes Trump’s new find for the federal housing project as having a professional knack for “executing and assisting with upscale events and celebrity golf tournaments.”

“[I also] handle celebrity talent acquisition for various marketing projects, philanthropic events and golf tournaments,” Ms. Patton additionally noted of herself on the career-themed, social media site.

Be that it may, the Daily News also alludes to Trump’s new appointee possibly being highly inexperienced for the federal housing chair, as it appears that Patton may be lying about her educational background.

“[Patton] claims on her LinkedIn page to have obtained a juris doctorate degree,” also known as a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree, “in 2000 from Quinnipiac University School of Law in Connecticut,” the Daily News details, although she apparently added a notation to the J.D. degree association, for undefined reasons.

Calls made to Quinnipiac by the publication to confirm Patton as being an alum of the school were said to have been met by responses of workers from the university who, according to the publication, claimed that Trump’s new federal housing employee never actually matriculated from the school.

“School registrar Jim Benson said Patton attended [Quinnipiac University] for two semesters, but did not graduate.”

A supposed second degree received from Yale University that was mentioned on Patton’s LinkedIn profile, was also found to be non-existent, writers for the Daily News went on to relay.

Trump’s ex-party planner’s first day as the new Region II federal housing head is said to be set for July 5. Patton did not return calls from Daily News to comment on the validity of her college degrees.
