The Weeknd can now add “proud homeowner” to his list of accomplishments after reportedly buying a multi-million dollar mansion in the famed Hidden Hills area of Los Angeles.
E! News covered the purchase in a recent article , which includes several snapshots of the home. In fact, the site goes on to say the mansion may be the most incredible they’ve seen in a long time.
“Dropping just under $20 million for the luxurious spread, The Weekend (real name Abel Tesfaye) will have plenty of space—13,391 square-feet to be exact—to hide away from the hustle and bustle of life as an international music sensation.”
According to the report, Abel now has a spacious home to enjoy that includes almost 10 bedrooms and a lot of other extremely cool add-ons.
“The newly-remodeled estate sits on three acres of land in L.A.’s Hidden Hills area, and boasts nine bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, plus a ton of sicker-than-your-average amenities.”
TMZ also covered the extravagant home as the site offered a slideshow of photos showcasing The Weeknd’s new pad. Of course, such a mansion comes with a few extras. The Weeknd spared no expense as his Hidden Hills home boasts a theater room among other entertainment areas, E! News reported.
“To name a few, the ‘Earned It’ singer can look forward to enjoying his glass-encased wine cellar, home theater, music lounge and gym facilities.”
But the amenities don’t stop there— there is also a 1,200-foot guest house and plenty of outdoor features to mention. E! News reported on The Weeknd’s new envy-worthy backyard as the singer now has the perfect place to host summer parties.
“The incredible backyard is enough to leave your jaw on the floor, which includes a salt water pool with a 12-foot water feature, 10-person spa, outdoor kitchen and massive entertaining pavilion.”
And then there’s the landscape surrounding said mansion and guest house, which simply puts the icing on this multi-million dollar cake.
“Not to mention the 8-stall barn, pasture areas and lush landscaping that features Redwood and olive trees.”
There’s no word yet on whether Abel plans on filling the barn with horses or other such livestock, but fans can be sure photos will flood social media if he does invest in some furry friends. For now, The Weeknd’s followers will have to be content with news on his recent purchase and, of course, his blooming romance with Selena Gomez.
Most recently, it has been reported Tesfaye and Gomez are collaborating on new music together as the pair take their relationship to another level. People magazine covered the news as fans eagerly await the single featuring both The Weeknd and Selena Gomez to make its debut.
“The new info stirred excitement among fans on social media as they await a collaboration between Gomez and the Canadian-born singer.”
Selena recently started producing new music after taking a break from the spotlight as she focused on her health. However, the pop star is quickly regaining her voice as she continues to release new songs that dominate the radio. Her relationship with Abel was first said to have started as the duo worked on music together, so fans may have been expecting this latest news for some time.
People magazine also stated it’s no surprise as Abel and Selena have been very public in their affection of one another.
“Working on new music together wouldn’t be out of this world for the pair as they haven’t been afraid to show off their relationship and show no signs of slowing down.”
It seems The Weeknd is one busy— and majorly successful— guy as he continues to make headlines over his career, romance with Gomez, and now his lavish purchase of a mansion in Hidden Hills.
