Be aware of social media predators! When her 13-year-old sister sent her a voice message, the woman didn’t predict that it could unfold into an unthinkable horror straight out of a movie. In late May, the cops received a strange 911 call, where the woman described that she had received a voice message from her sister, who might have been abducted by two social media predators.
The police have since arrested two Florida men suspected of luring the victim into a motel. The girl’s voicemail revealed that she pleaded with her captors to let her go, but they repeatedly refused.
According to the investigators, the 13-year-old met Marlon Alfaro-Alvarez, 28, and Amaya Garvin, 25, on social media. The pair allegedly brought her to a motel under false pretenses. Then, the predators asked the girl to sleep with them in exchange for money. When the minor girl begged them to let her go, Alvarez and Garvin blocked the exit.
When she finally had a grasp of the gravity of the situation, the girl secretly sent a voice message to her sister, asking her to get help. On May 31, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office quickly responded to the 911 call and raided the A1 Motel in Tampa, Florida. When the cops arrived, they found Marlon trying to flee the scene through the bathroom window. But he was swiftly arrested by the officers, who also found the other suspect inside the motel room.
The 13-year-old was also inside the room, and she was rescued by the police. Alvarez and Garvin were arrested at the scene on charges of trafficking of a minor and exploitation. The 28-year-old Florida man has also been accused of lewd and lascivious molestation and exhibition, along with additional charges of false imprisonment, resisting arrest without violence, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
His accomplice, Gavin, is also facing charges of false imprisonment and contributing to a child’s delinquency, along with the obvious human trafficking charges.

Sheriff Chad Chronister stated, “This child was lured, isolated, and targeted by adults who made the deliberate choice to exploit her. Their actions were not impulsive – they were predatory and calculated.”
He also thanked the officers who quickly responded and prevented further exploitation of the girl. “Thanks to the bravery of this young victim and the swift response of our deputies, we stopped these men before they could cause even more harm. Let this be a clear message: in Hillsborough County, we don’t turn a blind eye to those who prey on children — we turn the full force of the law against them.”
Although the Hillsborough County Sheriff is yet to reveal more details about the ongoing investigation, it has been said that additional charges could be brought against the perpetrators as the ordeal unfolds further.

One of the suspects was trying to escape through the bathroom window, when cops raided the motel and ultimately arrested both the men.
