Dina and Michael Lohan both made an appearance in court today to hash out the details of their reopened divorce case. I have to admit that I was a little worried, especially after it was released that Dina would face “ immediate arrest and imprisonment ” if she didn’t show up in Old Westbury court this morning.
Michael had reopened the divorce case in order to see his younger children Ali, 14, and Cody, 11, also stating that Dina was making it difficult for him to see Michael Jr. and Lindsay. According to the court documents, Michael also claims that Dina was openly drunk in front of the children, and didn’t bring the two youngest to 15 of 29 judge-ordered, therapist-supervised visits.
I was hoping for some dirt after they met today, but it turns out that the hearing has been adjourned until July 14th without much to spill. According to reports, the Family Court Judge Stacy Bennett was “extremely encouraged” that the two parties were cooperating.
No cat fights, then? Aw. I’m sure that Michael Lohan would have told us about them if there were!
