Liza Minnelli Records New Song For Boardwalk Empire Album [Video]


Liza Minnelli, at the age of 67, has recorded a new song for the upcoming soundtrack to HBO’s “Boardwalk Empire.”

Minnelli’s recording of “You’ve Got To See Mama Ev’ry Night (Or You Can’t See Mama At All)” will be part of “Boardwalk Empire Volume 2: Music from the HBO Series.”

The recording is due for release on Sept. 3.

Minnelli is as active as ever, and will be performing in Atlantic City Sept. 28 at Caesar’s.

Of course Atlantic City is the setting for the ‘Boardwalk Empire’ series.

Liza Minnelli has earned numerous awards in her long career. These include Tony Award nominations her performances in The Rink; Flora, the Red Menace; The Act;and Liza’s at the Palace.

She won a special Tony award in 1974 for The Act and Flora.

She also presented a tribute to her late father, Minnelli on Minnelli, at the Palace, and has appeared in the films ‘The Sterile Cuckoo’,’Arthur,’ ‘New York, New York’ and ‘Stepping Out’.

Liza Minelli has also won both Golden Globe and Emmy Awards.

Unfortunately, we don’t have a video of her singing her new song, but we hope you’ll enjoy her amazing rendition of the classic ‘New York, New York’.

Sorry to all Liza Minelli fans, but that’s as close as we could get to Atlantic City.
