Paola Guanche, the 12-year-old La Voz Kids sensation, won the competition in a stunning three hour extravaganza on Telemundo.

The young Cuban singer, a member of the Prince Royce team, will now get a Universal Music recording contract as well as a life-changing cash prize of $50,000.

Paola, who comes from Florida, sang I Will Always Love You, giving her best competition performance yet. She showed amazing presence on stage last night. She sang with confidence, as the rightful winner of the competition should. She received a standing ovation from all three judges after her performance along with huge applause from the excited crowd.

Paola Guanche’s coach, Prince Royce, was clearly beaming with pride when he spoke about Paola:

“Paola is exceptionally talented and she has impressed us all. She demonstrated excellence in all musical genres during the competition. She clearly represents what ‘La Voz Kids’ is all about and I’m proud to be her coach. All of the kids proved themselves to be winners; I loved working with them all and I have tremendous respect for them, especially for Team Royce.”

Paola, who comes from a distinguished background of famous Cuban singers, has kept the family tradition. She has been singing for as long as she can remember and doesn’t seem to be the type to get fazed by large audiences. As she said about herself: “I go up on stage and do what I have to do to win over the audience.”
