Obama Infomercial

Barack Obama became the first US Presidential candidate in 16 years to buy prime airtime for a 30 minute talk to the nation tonight (or the Obama Infomercial as it’s become known), and the video is now online for those who missed it:
Early feedback from the press has been positive: the editing is A+ as one site put it (and it is), and the message strong.
If you’ve seen it already, or watch it here for the first time, what do you think?
Update: the live part from the end of the Obama Infomercial below

Great documentary. Clear and unambiguous. No name calling, simple messages and clear understanding of the issues. I am sure this great team i.e.Obama-Biden, will bring in positive changes in USA and for rest of the world. No war cry , no calling names, no arrogancy, no muscle flexing- a promise for the future an approach to reach out for peace and cooperation. Lets hope, Obama goes by his promises if he is elected as the Presdent of the United States.Good luck Americans and Good luck Obama and Biden.

This online Barrack Obama infomercial is taking a long time to load from youtube, probably because it is getting hit hard right now. You can watch it in 4 parts at rogriff's blog here: http://rogriff.blogspot.com/
It loads faster; check it out if you missed the live video.

How much plain folks propaganda can you get into just thirty minutes?!
Did anyone else notice the blatant contradictions that were rife through the piece? How can he say that he will lower taxes but at the same time raise the salary of teachers….people paid via taxes. I guess he could end the war and get back those 10 billion dollars every month, but then he said that he would update the military to 21st century standards and stay in Afghanistan until it was over. How can you increase the domestic production of oil without a) putting in new drills or b) putting more money to the existing ones for better efficiency and production? How can he claim that taxes will go down if these are going to occur? Either these will not happen and Obama will have lied, or these will happen and taxes will go up… possibly the best half hour long equivocation ever.

This man is exceptional. It is pathetic that the people who will benefit most from his Presidency are listening to the divisive words of mccain/palin. Very sad. Hopefully, they will see in time.
