Second Life now offering Business Teleconferencing



Linden Lab has teamed up with Rivers Run Red to offer a formal business teleconferencing solution on the Second Life Grid.

Under the deal, Linden Lab will sell and market Rivers Run Red’s teleconferencing solution Immersive Workspaces 2.0, and will explore developing and deploying additional offerings for from the company in the future.

Immersive Workspaces 2.0 enables organizations to construct custom virtual work environments, including meetings rooms and design centers, on the Second Life Grid, the private Second Life implementation that is separate from the main Second Life space. Integrated web-based applications and the ability to upload and integrate real world content such as PowerPoint slides delivers a full virtual conference experience.
