‘Alaskan Bush People’ Fans Clamor For Updates On Ami Brown As The Show Airs Another Rehashed Episode

Last night’s Alaskan Bush People episode was another compilation of old footages dubbed as “the lost episode.” It has been two weeks since the reality-docu series confirmed that Ami Brown is battling stage 3 lung cancer, but it has yet to air new scenes that show Ami’s development. Now, fans are disappointed with how the show is being dragged on with mostly re-runs.

‘The Lost Episode’

Alaskan Bush People Season 7 Episode 4 aired a never-before-seen episode showing Billy Brown and his family doing their usual antics in the wild. The scenes were clearly shot from past seasons but were edited out for whatever reason.

“As the Brown family awaits Ami’s treatment options, this lost episode shows the wolfpack’s ability to endure hardships in every environment,” the episode’s official synopsis reads, per Monsters & Critics.

“Adrift on the shores of the Alaskan wilderness, the wolfpack rediscovers their need for adventure.”

There was a scene with Bear and Bam showing some real brotherly love while goofing around in silly animal costumes. Another part shows Matt trying to score a date with a girl in the local town. There was also a moving scene that narrates how Billy adopted the family pet dog, Mr. Cupcake.

Fans Want Ami Updates

Prior to the airing, Alaskan Bush People promoted the episode on social media. The show promised fans some “warm, fuzzy feeling” upon watching.

“Need some Bush love? Get your fix tomorrow night at 9 p.m. on Discovery. Warm, fuzzy feeling guaranteed.”

But for many fans, the July 12 episode was another major letdown, much like last week’s episode which featured way too many flashbacks. In fact, out of the five episodes that have aired so far in the current Season 7, only two episodes contained new scenes. These were the second and third episodes, which followed Ami’s medical diagnosis at a hospital in California.

The Brown family received an outpouring of support and well-wishes from fans after revealing Ami’s real condition. Naturally, their fans are hungry for updates regarding Ami’s cancer battle. But for two consecutive weeks now, they have been given episodes with more old footages than new ones. Many have already expressed their frustration over these series of recaps.

While most viewers are clamoring for new episodes, other followers commented that they would be content with a simple update from Discovery regarding Ami’s health. After all, the network did recently ask fans for messages and artworks that they can pass to the Brown Family. However, it seems that fans will have to tune in for another episode next week to get a slight chance of getting new information.

In between Ami’s cancer and packing up Browntown, the Alaskan Bush People family is definitely experiencing a difficult time now. Last night’s episode was, perhaps, the show’s way of reminding its fans of the happier times.
