Selena Gomez and The Weeknd are reportedly teaming up on his new Los Angeles mansion. As the “In the Night” singer tends to his busy tour schedule, Selena Gomez is reportedly stepping up and offering her assistance with getting his home ready to live in.
According to a new report, The Weeknd asked his girlfriend to help him decorate the home during the final leg of his tour because he loves her style and trusts her judgment. That said, Selena Gomez will not be responsible for footing the bill.
“He can’t wait to finish his tour and get back to LA to nest with [Selena Gomez],” an insider told Hollywood Life on June 15. “And, the sky’s the limit with the budget. She can spend whatever she wants and he’ll pay for it.”
Selena Gomez and The Weeknd began dating several months ago, and in January of this year, they confirmed their relationship with a cozy outing in Santa Monica, California, where they enjoyed a dinner date at Giorgio Baldi restaurant. Since then, Gomez and her boyfriend have been spotted around the world together as The Weeknd does his best to juggle his new romance with the 24-year-old singer and actress with his tour schedule.
Although Selena Gomez’s time with The Weeknd will likely be reduced as the result of his recently extended tour, a source told Hollywood Life days ago that she totally understands the importance of his career.
As the insider explained, Selena Gomez will certainly miss her boyfriend like crazy as he tends to his career responsibilities, but she’ll make sure to stay in close contact with him by FaceTiming daily.
The source also said that The Weeknd has done an amazing job of making sure that Selena Gomez always knows how important she is to him by sending her flowers and gifts.
“They are such an adorable couple and really madly in love,” the insider added.
As for her own career, Selena Gomez’s fans are anticipating that a new album will be dropped soon, and yesterday, the singer dropped a music video for her latest single, “Bad Liar.”
