Brad Pitt ‘Excited’ To See Pal George Clooney After Twins? Brad Reportedly Has Bombshell Concern

Brad Pitt and George Clooney have enjoyed a strong friendship for years. Now, despite Brad’s ongoing divorce drama with Angelina Jolie, the actor reportedly is eager to see his buddy George, who just became a new dad times two by having twins with his wife Amal Clooney. As the dad of boy and girl twins himself with Angelina, Pitt could offer up some handy tips on fathering. But a new report claims that the actor has a bombshell concern about meeting up with his long-time pal.

Recently opening up about his life when it comes to his use of alcohol, Pitt is allegedly concerned about George’s own drinking habits. Brad is “doing his best to stay on the straight and narrow, so much so that he’s avoiding social situations that involve alcohol,” according to Yahoo.

An anonymous friend of Pitt’s cited by Yahoo explained that in addition to the actor’s recent confession about his battle with booze, Brad has alerted his former drinking pals about the need to go easy with alcohol when he’s hanging out with them. And that circle reportedly includes Pitt’s long-time buddy George.

“[Pitt is] starting to be a real bore,” added the insider.

“Brad told George he’s down for anything athletic or creative, but he can’t be around alcohol.”

Although Pitt is “excited” to visit with his buddy Clooney following the arrival of the twins, the War Machine actor reportedly has set some guidelines about their meeting. When the two meet up in London now that the twins have been born, Brad allegedly has “made it clear he wants no alcohol at the event – apparently not even a celebratory champagne,” according to the source.

Pitt reportedly is worried that being with Clooney when George is drinking could turn into a tempting situation, according to the source.

“Brad’s not willing to put himself into any tempting environments,” explained the insider.

“Being around George when he’s knocking back tequilas is [Brad’s] idea of hell.”

The claims about Pitt’s alleged guidelines for when he meets up with Clooney and other former drinking buddies come in the wake of the actor’s tell-all interview published in GQStyle recently. Brad opened up about his struggles with “boozing” and marijuana use since graduating college.

But Clooney’s twins could help Pitt lighten up his mood, pointed out the Mercury News. George and Amal Clooney welcomed boy and girl twins, paralleling Pitt’s and Jolie’s experience with their twins Knox and Vivienne.

Even before Clooney’s twins arrived, fans speculated that Brad would go all out to celebrate George becoming a new dad by offering some solid advice on fathering twins. Vanity Fair writers Julie Miller and Josh Duboff even used their podcast, “In The Limelight,” to speculate that the twins’ arrival would help Brad.

“Maybe this will help [Brad] get out of his gloom a little bit, like he’ll go to the baby shower.”

Amid speculation that Pitt would even plan the baby shower along with attending it, they envisioned the actor using his known passions for sculpting, building furniture, and architecture to come up with some “really intense ideas” for celebrating George’s and Amal’s twins. And while they also imagined George secretly confiding in his buddy Matt Damon that it was “like such a hideous design,” the writers thought that Matt would be sympathetic to Brad’s need.

“C’mon man, he needs this,” Damon would supposedly respond.

Going even further, Duboff and Miller speculated that Pitt would craft a cutting-edge crib for the twins, using his own design. As for whether Brad will head to his workshop to devote endless hours to coming up with a crib for the Clooney twins isn’t known, but George’s and Amal’s buddy Matt Damon, has talked openly about his views on the Clooney couple.

“She’s spectacular,” said Matt of Amal. “They’re gonna be — those kids are really lucky.”

And Damon also had positive predictions about how Clooney would handle life as the dad of twins.

“He’ll be great [as a dad],” said the actor about his friend. “He’s just, you know, he’s so smart, he’s so loving. He’s gonna be great.”
