Margot Robbie Marries Tom Ackerly In Hush-Hush Ceremony
Sorry, guys and gals, but it looks like Margot Robbie is no longer a single lady. According to a report by the Daily Mail, Margot Robbie married her long-term beau, Tom Ackerley, at a top-secret rendezvous in Byron Bay.

Margot Robbie has long denied the rumors swirling around her about the prospect of marriage in the past, telling Extra in an interview that she was way too busy.
“I can’t even get a day off. That stuff is going to have to wait,” she explained at the time.
Still, she was equally candid in an interview with Vogue this past spring about how much her relationship with Ackerley meant to her.
“I was the ultimate single gal. The idea of relationships made me want to vomit. And then this crept up on me. We were friends for so long. I was always in love with him, but I thought, Oh, he would never love me back. Don’t make it weird, Margot. Don’t be stupid and tell him that you like him. And then it happened, and I was like, Of course we’re together. This makes so much sense, the way nothing has ever made sense before.”
While nothing has been confirmed by either party or their representatives, there have been some suspiciously candid photos popping up on Instagram. James Ackerley, Tom’s brother, posted this image from Harvest Newrybar on Sunday. Harvest is one of the go-to spots for weddings in Byron Bay.
If that wasn’t enough of a tease, Margot’s brother Cameron stated that he was on holiday in Australia. He then posted this picture of himself with four women known to be close friends of Margot.
The caption coyly reads, “The calm before the Summer storm.”

Capping off all of the suspicious behavior, Margot herself arrived in Australia wearing a T-shirt that read, “Say ‘I Do’ Down Under.”
Robbie, an Australian actress, gained international acclaim for her recent role as Harley Quinn in the movie Suicide Squad. She has been tapped to reprise that role in an upcoming ensemble film titled Gotham City Sirens, which will team her up with Catwoman and Poison Ivy from the DC universe.
She started her career with a pair of guest spots on The Elephant Princess and City Homicide, parlaying that into a starring turn in the movie I.C.U. in 2009. Her big break in Australia came when she was cast as Donna Freedman in the Australian soap opera Neighbors. She was a series regular from 2008 until 2011 and was nominated for two Logie Awards, the Australian equivalent to the Emmy Awards. She shot to stardom when she starred opposite of Leonardo DiCaprio in Martin Scorsese’s The Wolf of Wall Street in 2013. Since then, she has continued to take Hollywood by storm.
Tom Ackerly is an assistant director who met Robbie on the set of Suite Francaise, a World War II period drama. Tom has worked on multiple films, including Pride and Prejudice, Macbeth, and Grimbsy. After they met, they began spending lots of time together.
Margot’s mother, Sarie Kessler, apparently loves Tom, saying, “She loves Tom, he’s the one, he’s the man in her life, he’s a gorgeous and delightful person.”
After the wedding, it looks like the newlyweds are headed back to London for the time being. However, if there are any children in their future, Margot has gone on record saying that they will be raised in Australia.
