Gigi Hadid was reportedly super protective of her sister after the 2016 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. Both sisters walked the annual runway show – it was the first time for Bella and the second for Gigi. As you know, Bella and The Weeknd broke up weeks before the VS Fashion Show. While she maintained her composure when she walked past him on the runway, her big sister allegedly lost it when she spoke to him at an after-party.

According to Hollywood Life, Bella Hadid, 20, walked at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show for the first time this year. She smiled sweetly at him before doing her model strut and giving her signature pout while he performed. Bella Hadid and The Weeknd, 26, made such intense eye contact during their brief encounter that the rumors swirled that the couple was getting back together.

Gigi Hadid, 21, reportedly has different feelings for the singer. The celebrity gossip blog alleged that in the new photos that surfaced on the outlet on Thursday, Dec. 8, the model was seen allegedly yelling at The Weeknd at the Victoria’s Secret after-party. Insiders couldn’t tell what the two were saying, but Gigi was reportedly “hunched forward” while yelling at the “Can’t Feel My Face” singer. She also clenched her fist as she held her phone by her side. While Gigi allegedly looked angry, The Weeknd had a shocked expression on his face.

Insiders told Hollywood Life that their interaction was a “heated argument,” and it appears that she was giving him a piece of her mind. Bella is not seen anywhere in the photo, but it seems like Gigi was defending her sister. Gigi has no problem defending herself. She often takes to social media to defend her career or her model thin body. Gigi also defended herself when an Italian prankster grabbed her and tried to run off with the model at Milan Fashion Week.

However, it was previously reported that Bella and The Weeknd were spotted together at the same after-party. The Daily Mail claimed that the former couple attended the same after-party in Paris shortly after the show. Bella was photographed wearing a revealing ensemble that looked like one of the lingerie looks she rocked on the runway. The brunette beauty wore a black lace thong bodysuit underneath a sheer purple skirt, which she paired with a baby blue fur coat. She finished off her look with black heeled sandals, a diamond choker, and a dark blue printed handbag.

And hours after reportedly partying together, Bella thanked her former lover on Instagram for being the “most incredible performer on the planet.”

Speaking to E! News ahead of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, Bella insisted that there was no bad blood between the two.

“This is his second year performing, and I think he’s going to kill it. There is no awkwardness. He is my best friend, and I am excited because I am walking during his performance.”

According to the outlet, the pair are on good terms that The Weeknd even sent Bella a good luck gift ahead of her debut walk.

“Bella and The Weeknd have been talking again. The Weeknd sent Bella something special to her room to wish her luck on her big day. He also spoke and texted her today and throughout these past few days in Paris. They are on great terms – not back together but still talking and are still in love with each other. They are looking forward to doing the show together!”

Bella and The Weeknd reportedly split last month due to their hectic schedules. The on-and-off couple have been dating since April 2015 when Bella agreed to pose for the Canadian singer’s album, Beauty Behind the Madness.
