Kim Kardashian, Kanye West Struggling To Get Through ‘Tense Time’

The final few months of 2016 have been difficult for Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, and according to sources close to the family, the struggles they’ve faced are wearing on their relationship.

An unnamed source for People is reporting that “Kanye West’s issues have caused strain on his marriage to Kim Kardashian.”

“Kanye and Kim had a stressful few months. It’s been a tense time. But Kim is happy he’s getting help.”

Kanye West was admitted to the hospital on November 21 after behaving erratically. At the time, the 39-year-old rapper was said to be suffering from sleep deprivation and dehydration, but later reports indicated that West may also be dealing with some paranoia. West was released from the hospital more than a week later on November 30.

Paranoia would be understandable, of course, as it had been less than two months since Kanye’s wife, Kim Kardashian, was robbed at gunpoint in Paris. As she slept, masked men broke into Kim K’s apartment and stole about $10 million worth of jewels. The incident was so traumatic that Kardashian opted to live a reclusive life for some time as she recovered, and the one-time social media maven still has not returned to share her life with her fans. After the incident, West was said to have been “unsettled” by the event — perhaps more so than anyone else.

Despite reports of tension from the People source, other sources close to the Kardashians have indicated that Kim does not have plans to divorce Kanye West at this time. Rumors of a divorce between the two superstars have run rampant, but an E! Online source reported earlier this week that the rumors are simply not true. As the Inquisitr previously reported, Kardashian simply wants her husband to get better.

“She wants to get Kanye back on his feet. She is not leaving him. She loves him.”

In fact, despite the admission of tension in the marriage, the People source supports the claims reported by the Inquisitr previously. The People source added that the 37-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star has been “the dutiful, responsible, loving spouse that one would expect.”

“She is super focused on him,” the source added.

Previous reports indicated that while hospitalized, Kardashian opted to keep her children, 3-year-old North and 1-year-old Saint, from seeing their father. But since Yeezy was released from the hospital, he’s reportedly spent plenty of time with his children. Already, time with his children has helped Kanye’s condition to improve, the source reported.

“He’s an incredibly proud, doting, involved and loving father. He loves playing with his kids, he loves talking to his kids, he loves teaching his kids. He and North have an amazing relationship. She’s very attached to him.”

Shortly before his hospitalization was revealed, it was announced that Kanye West had canceled the remaining 21 stops on his “Saint Pablo Tour.” During the tour, Kanye frequently went on his famous rants from the stage, notably mentioning that he would have voted for Donald Trump, had he decided to vote. In one of his last rants, ‘Ye railed against Jay Z and Beyoncé.

Despite the odd diatribe’s, the People source asserted that Kanye’s rants all demonstrate the same thing: The rapper and fashion designer is looking toward the future, because he wants to improve the world for his children.

“He lives his life in a political way and his family obviously informs all of those decisions,” the People source said while speaking of West’s rants.

“They’re the reasons he does what he does and thinks what he thinks.”
