Amber Heard To Go Nude Or Lose $10 Million In A ‘London Fields’ Lawsuit

The world hasn’t seen much of Amber Heard since her highly publicized divorce from Johnny Depp. Other than a few celebrity sightings with model turned actress Cara Delevingne, Amber has remained away from the public eye, but that has changed with Heard’s involvement in yet another legal battle. It seems Amber has used her time to get involved in a conspiracy to derail the production of the Matthew Cullen thriller, London Fields. Among the chief complaints, the lawsuit filed by London Fields producers charges Ms. Heard with refusing to fulfill her contractual obligations by reneging on her agreement to do nude scenes.

London Fields Wants Amber Heard Nude

In the complaints filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, Movie Web reveals that Amber Heard is attempting to go back on her agreement to appear nude in some of London Fields’ scenes. While the issue of nudity seems to be of greater concern in the lawsuit, it also seems to be indicative of Amber’s broader non-compliance with her obligations. Specifically, Ms. Heard is now contending that she never agreed to appear nude in London Fields and that she had never agreed to sign over “the right to the results and proceeds of her acting services in the Picture.”

Amber’s sudden change of heart has impacted the production of London Fields, according to the complaint filed with the court.

“As a result of Heard’s refusal to comply with her contractual obligations – including her improper refusal to act in provocative scenes contained in the pre-approved script – key scenes in the script had to be removed and/or rewritten to accommodate Heard’s behavior.”

The London Fields actress is also accused of creating discord by speaking negatively about the film in public forums and to her co-stars. The documents claim that “as a result of Heard’s tortious misconduct and breaches,” London Fields has had to be rewritten several times. Additionally, the production of London Fields is on hold, pending the outcome of this latest legal obstacle.

It’s very likely that the legal battle and Amber’s refusal to comply with her obligations may cause distributors and financial backers to withdraw their support of the film.

Was Amber Heard Conspiring To Thwart London Fields With Director Matthew Cullen?

The Guardian reveals that London Fields is no stranger to courtroom warfare. Even before this recent conflict created by Amber Heard, the film’s producers faced a lawsuit from director Matthew Cullen, which claimed producers Christopher Hanley and Jordan Gertner were attempting to commandeer the project from Cullen without paying him. While it seems the dispute was settled and London Fields has moved forward, the new lawsuit against Amber Heard mentions Cullen and indicates that the director is harboring ill feelings over the incident.

The court documents charge Ms. Heard with conspiring with fellow London Fields actors to make unauthorized changes to the shooting script and to fail to deliver on agreed upon acting services. The documents also charge Amber with conspiring with Matthew Cullen to aid him to violate his own obligations.

“Heard had previously also, in concert with other actors in the Picture, engaged in the following improper conduct: failing to render acting services in conformance with the shooting script; conspiring with Cullen to make unauthorized, material changes to the shooting script; aiding Cullen and conspiring with him to violate his contractual agreements with Plaintiff; and failing to render ADR services in accordance with her contractual obligations and conspiring with others to do the same,” reads a portion of the complaint against Amber Heard.

London Fields casts Amber Heard as clairvoyant Nicola Six, who has seen a vision of her own murder and must determine which of her three love interests is the culprit.
