‘American Horror Story’ Season 6 Episode 8 Spoilers: Guess Who’s Coming Back [Video]

American Horror Story Season 6 has yet to air its annual two-part Halloween episode yet. Since there are only three episodes left, it is safe to assume that they are going to fit it in with the classic American Horror Story style by adhering to their standard playlist of rules.

As fans have already seen, there are more than enough ghosts to go around now that American Horror Story: Roanoke has killed off some major characters and put other lives in perilous wonder as well. So it might be safe to assume, as reported by TV Guide, that fans are about to see a possible tie-in to other seasons in Episode 8.

Let’s start this out by getting a few preliminaries out of the way. For those who have not seen Episode 7 or any other previous episodes of American Horror Story: Roanoke, be warned, there are spoilers ahead. Only proceed further with that in mind.

First of all, Halloween is more than just a sacred tradition for American Horror Story. It also gives rise to one of their cardinal rules that they established in the very first season on Murder House. It is the one night of the year where a ghost can haunt more than one place.

Since most fans of American Horror Story: Roanoke know that Season 6 is heavily premised on the existence of ghosts, then you know all too well that they are haunting the house and the surrounding woods. But they are essentially tied to that specific area and cannot leave, unless the blood moon falls on Halloween, the night they can venture off the plantation and kill their enemies hiding in faraway places.

Does anyone really think that Agnes is done playing the part of the Butcher after being cleaved by the real Butcher on American Horror Story: Roanoke? What about all of those summer-long theories that there could be a possible return of some former characters, such as Tate Langdon for example. Or maybe even Taissa Farmiga, given that she is also still trapped in the Murder House.

Okay, so this American Horror Story theory might be a little bit of a stretch. But what isn’t a stretch is the possibility that American Horror Story: Coven could be making an appearance on the show, since we already know that the wood nymph/witch is the original supreme. The wishful thinking here is that Jessica Lange will make an appearance on the show to support her ancestor, but that might also be a bit of a stretch.

Alternatively, Taissa Farmiga has indeed been confirmed to be coming back for an episode of American Horror Story: Roanoke, so there is a good chance that she will be the one who shows up representing the New Orleans coven from American Horror Story. No promises on that one, though.

So now, you have to ask yourself that in the two whole seasons that you have seen Taissa Farmiga on American Horror Story, has there ever been an episode where she was not at least romantically linked to Evan Peters, let alone appeared without him on the show?

That leads us to what will likely come next on American Horror Story: Roanoke, Episode 8. It seems reasonable to assume that Taissa will be showing up and that our next friendly ghost visit will come from Evan Peters himself, but only this time as the character Rory.

Remember, Rory is dead and he only recently got discovered by his quirky wife on the last episode of American Horror Story. So the ghostly love triangle might begin with a little drama to go along with it. It is also hinted that she is not going down quietly either.
