Taylor Swift Wants To Date Someone Who’s ‘A Little More Secretive’
It might be a lesson learned for Taylor Swift after reports suggest that she wants to date someone who’s willing to keep things private. After all, prior to the demise of “Hiddleswift,” her dates with the British actor over the summer have been heavily photographed.
“She is not avoiding dating nor is she actively looking for a boyfriend, but she definitely wants to make sure the next person she dates can be a little more secretive about the relationship and she is looking to do the same,” said a Hollywood Life insider.
The insider went on to say that if Taylor goes back to the dating game, she doesn’t want to be called the next “Brangelina” or “Bennifer.” It appears that the 26-year-old songstress now wants to take things slowly. Prior to her most recent romance with Tom Hiddleston, Taylor has dated several celebrities including Calvin Harris, Harry Styles, Jake Gyllenhaal, John Mayer, Taylor Lautner, Joe Jonas, and Conor Kennedy.
Recently, it was alleged that Taylor wanted to have her eggs frozen to rid herself of the pressure of finding the right man. As per Ace Showbiz, Life & Style reports that Taylor is worried about her “string of failed relationships.” By undergoing the procedure, “she can relax about finding the right man, and stop jumping from relationship to relationship.”
The report turned out to be unfounded. In an interview with InStyle magazine, via E!, in 2015, the “Styles” musician even revealed her doubts about having kids. She’s worried about exposing her children to the glare of publicity.
“I don’t know if I’ll have kids. It’s impossible not to picture certain scenarios and how you would try to convince them that they have a normal life when, inevitably, there will be strange men pointing giant cameras at them from the time they are babies.”
Last month, reports have also emerged that Taylor’s eyeing Prince Harry, believing that she’s done kissing “her share of frogs.” In 2013, Taylor allegedly asked her friend Gwyneth Paltrow to set her up with the British royal. This time, she has reportedly sought Ellie Goulding.
However, the Queen does not find Taylor’s intentions flattering for she fears that she would pen a breakup song about Harry should things go awry. Taylor, after all, is renowned for writing songs about her former flames.
Despite these reports, Taylor remains tight-lipped. Instead of commenting on her dating life, the songstress is focused on keeping her promises. She recently completed her $1 million pledge to the four charities helping those that have been affected by the floods in Louisiana.
Taylor made the pledge last August. She donated to several non-profit organizations including the Convoy of Hope, The Life of a Single Mom, and YWC Great Baton Rouge. The Life of a Single Mom thanked Taylor for reaching out to the charity to “ensure that no single mom walks alone during this very difficult time.” Taylor extended $100,000 as well to Habitat for Humanity that is in the process of building 100 homes for the affected residents of Baton Rouge. Another $50,000 was donated to the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank.

In a previous statement to Entertainment Tonight, Taylor recalled the warm reception of her fans in Louisiana when she staged her “1989 World Tour.”
“We began the 1989 World Tour in Louisiana, and the wonderful fans there made us feel completely at home,” she gushed. “The fact that so many people in Louisiana have been forced out of their own homes this week is heartbreaking.”
The Louisiana flooding is deemed as the country’s worst natural disaster since Hurricane Sandy in 2012. Thousands of people have lost their homes because of the disaster.
