Travis Barker and DJ AM in Critical Condition After Plane Crash

DJ AM (Adam Goldstein) and Travis Barker of former Blink-182 fame have been critically injured in a plane crash in South Carolina. After performing at a free concert held in Columbia, they caught a Learjet 60 to head back to Van Nuys, which took off at 11:53 p.m. on Friday night.

Sparks were seen as the airplane traveled down the runway, and it crashed through the antenna arena at the end of the runway and through the fence that surrounded it. The plane burst into flames as it hurdled across a roadway, and DJ AM and Travis are said to have saved their lives by jumping out of the plane almost immediately after it crashed. They were seen tearing off their burning clothes after leaving the plane.

DJ AM and Travis Barker are currently being treated for severe burns. DJ AM suffered extensive burns on his face, while Travis Barker has been burned badly from the waist down.

The four named dead by the coroner were pilot Sarah Lemmon, 31; co-pilot James Bland, 52; Chris Baker, 29; and Charles Still, 25.

    First of all Travis Barker is the Business with playing them drums. But I was just wondering now with DJ-AM out of the hospital why he or Travis has not made a comment about the Bodyguard/Friend Charles "Che" Still and Assistant Chris Baker. I know about the Memorial Fund but I really wonder if Travis and DJ PR people have gotten to them because these guys where ALL friends and for them to be this quiet says volume. I really believe with everyone talking about Divine Intervention I believe it was God and Divine Intervention in the way of the BodyGuard Charles Still to open that "Emergency Exit Door" and hold it so they could get out and Charles and Chris just didnt have time to help themselves before they dropped down on that highway and started skidding across the road, Its like people are believing Travis and DJ got up and said see you guys later we jumping out this door and Charles and Chris just sat there, I would say all four of these guys got up together to get out of that plane, who knows one of them may have hesitated and was afraid to jump and took to much time, I do believe something beside fire happened on that Jet that DJ or Travis are not ready to talk about, those handle/latches on those Emergency Exit are not always easy to open and on some planes/jets have to be released by the Pilot before they can be opened. One thing is for sure they had to get the door open before they could get out and as much as many people want to believe this was all magic we all may find out someone who perished in that LearJet crash gave up their life to save DJ-AM and Travis and that may be too heartbreaking for either of them to talk about now.
