‘Real Housewives Of New York’ Season 9 Casting Shake-Up: Jill Zarin And Jamie Hilfiger In, Who Is Out?

Season 9 of the Real Housewives of New York will feature some major casting changes.

With Jill Zarin and Jaimie Hilfiger possible additions for next season, which cast members won’t return to RHONY?

For starters, Hilfiger sat down with OK Magazine during New York Fashion Week and revealed that she might be on the show next year.

“Well, you’ll have to wait and see but I recently relocated to New York City so… I guess everyone will have to wait and see,” Hilfiger said with a big smile. “I’m a big Housewives fan. I think this season has been dramatic, but also I feel like the ladies have stayed friends as well, which I think is cool.”

While Hilfiger’s casting hasn’t been confirmed, she admitted that she might bond well with Sonja Morgan.

“She’s beautiful. I think people give her a hard time, but I understand how she wants to create a lifestyle brand around herself,” she admitted. “I’m a model, so I’m gonna continue modeling and I also have my own skincare line out… so I’m just going to keep doing that and stay positive and bring the drama.”

Jill Zarin also chatted with OK Magazine and revealed that she would like to return to RHONY at some point in her career.

“Listen, I would love to do a cameo but they’re not calling,” Zarin shared. “So, what can I say?”

Sadly, it doesn’t sound like Zarin will be included next season, though fans shouldn’t rule out a cameo appearance or two.

The former reality star also dished on her friendship with RHONY star Bethenny Frankel.

“There is no relationship, sadly,” Zarin admitted. “I wish her well, only well. I really do.”

Speaking of Frankel, the Real Housewives of New York star hinted that she might not return for Season 9.

According to Bustle, Frankel admitted that she started to distance herself from the other ladies on the show following the reunion.

With Frankel taking the brunt of drama this season, her comments seemed to confirm her exit.

However, producers reportedly offered her around $1.5 million to stick around for another year.

Whether or not Frankel accepted the offer is unclear, but turning down a seven-figure deal would be a difficult decision.

What about the other RHONY ladies?

LuAnn de Lesseps generated enough drama with her engagement to Tom D’Agostino that she might land a full-time contract next year.

That being said, de Lesseps became Frankel’s biggest enemy when she accused her of cheating during the reunion. If Frankel wants de Lesseps out, then producers will likely concede.

Ramona Singer, on the other hand, had a fairly quiet season. Now that her romance with Mario is over, Singer’s status as a single woman should be entertaining to watch next year.

Sonja Morgan’s fate is probably tied in with de Lesseps.

Morgan, who previously dated D’Agostino, had a hard time watching de Lesseps’ romance unfold last season. If the former countess returns, then Morgan might not.

Carole Radziwill will probably stay on board as long as Frankel returns for another year.

She managed to become Frankel’s closest friend on the series, which should get her a contract extension.

Dorinda Medley is probably safe as well. Although Medley got a little too emotional this season, she looked like she enjoyed throwing parties for the ladies and serving as the show’s event planner.

The only cast member that isn’t returning is Jules Wainstein.

According to E! Online, Wainstein is focusing on her family and getting through a nasty divorce with Michael.

“Jules is going going through a divorce and is putting her family first,” a rep told the outlet.

Bravo has yet to comment on the casting rumors.
