Kourtney Kardashian Quitting ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ Ahead Of Season 13?

Is Kourtney Kardashian leaving Keeping Up With the Kardashians after starring on the series for 12 seasons?

Although the reality star and her family have been spotted filming scenes for Keeping Up With the Kardashians Season 13 in Los Angeles in recent weeks, a source claims she may be ready to cut ties with the E! Network reality series.

“[Kourtney Kardashian] has not been into it for quite some time now,” a family insider told Radar Online on August 10. “Anyone who has eyes can clearly see that! After all that drama with Scott went down, Kourtney went from being okay with constant cameras and people around her at all times to just wanting to be left alone.”

Last summer, Kourtney Kardashian endured a messy split from Scott Disick, her boyfriend of nine years, after he was photographed getting close to his former girlfriend, Chloe Bartoli. Following the release of several damning photographs of the former pair, Kourtney Kardashian cut ties with her boyfriend, but ever since, she and Disick have remained close friends for the sake of their three kids, Mason, 6, Penelope, 4, and Reign, 1.

“She has made an incredible amount of money from the show and is grateful for everything that [Keeping Up With the Kardashians] has given her,” the source continued. But, when it comes to her future, “Kourtney really wants to start her own lifestyle brand — similar to Jessica Alba’s.”

While Kourtney Kardashian may be reaching her breaking point with being a reality star, she may be unable to leave the show as her mother, Kris Jenner, signed a deal for their family that will keep them on the air until 2019.

“[Kourtney Kardashian] knows that she has to wait until the contract is up to start venturing off on her own,” said the source. “She knows that she is kind of just stuck in it until Kris, or Kim, pull the plug. And that is just how it is.”

Earlier this week, Kourtney Kardashian admitted that she often considers leaving the show but noted that once she has a break from filming between seasons, she typically is ready to come back for more.

“I don’t want the show to end, but I sometimes think I would be so happy if it did and I could just move away from it all,” Kourtney Kardashian admitted during an interview with Sunday You Magazine, according to a report by Radar Online. “By the end of every season I’ve had enough, but then once we have had a break I’m ready for more.”

“I don’t live my life thinking, ‘I’m a role model,'” Kourtney Kardashian continued. “I still feel surprised when I’m recognized in the street. I forget that so many people know who I am and have seen me give birth.”

Kourtney Kardashian has been seen welcoming her children on the show and while her sister, Kim, hasn’t always been on board with the idea of having their kids appear on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kourtney Kardashian said she is willing to allow her kids onscreen because it is simply easier for them.

“I wanted the children to feel free to run about where they wanted – it’s their home, after all – so it was easier to let them. They have known the crew all their lives and the team are very respectful about leaving at 6 p.m., when I like to have family time,” she revealed.
