Two free games for Xbox Live Gold members scheduled for June 2016 are available starting today. Games With Gold now offers The Crew and XCOM Enemy Unknown for $0 to paid subscribers of Xbox Live Gold.

This month marks the 3-year anniversary of Games With Gold, Microsoft’s program for Xbox 360 and Xbox One users who have active Xbox Live Gold subscription. It provides “exclusive access to a hand-selected collection of free games” every month, as described on its official page on the Xbox website. A total of four games were chosen to be free for Xbox Live Gold members this month, which includes the aforementioned titles.

The online racing video game released in 2014, The Crew, is normally priced at $29.99. However, beginning today, June 16, eligible Xbox One users will be able to get it at no cost at all. Ivory Tower’s action-driving massively-multiplayer-online game is free until July 15, according to Xbox Wire’s post. The game’s description is given on its Xbox Store product page.

“The Crew is a revolutionary action-driving MMO that connects players online like never before. The Crew takes you and your friends on a wild ride across a massive, open-world recreation of the United States that is richly detailed and loaded with endless challenges. Generous in content and tailored for the connected generation, The Crew is the next-gen game that redefines action-driving.”

Moreover, a previous report from the Inquisitr mentioned that the list of free games for Xbox Live Gold members for the month of June also includes the third-person action game, Goat Simulator. The Coffee Stain Studios’ game has been available for free for Xbox Live Gold subscribers since the beginning of the month and will continue to be until June 30.

Meanwhile, the Xbox 360 game XCOM Enemy Unknown, with the original price of $39.99, is available for free today until the end of the month. It replaced Super Meat Boy, the Super Mario Bros-inspired Xbox 360 platformer that became free for Xbox Live Gold members for the first half of June.

Developed by Firaxis, XCOM Enemy Unknown initially hit the shelves in 2012. Players of this turn-based tactical Xbox 360 game act as the head of XCOM which is an elite paramilitary organization formed to defend the Earth from an alien invasion, according to its Xbox Marketplace page. Gamers’ tasks include making a fully functioning base, researching alien technologies, planning combat missions and controlling soldier movements in combat.

Aside from these free games, Xbox Live members can also take advantage of discounted Xbox titles. Through the weekly Deals with Gold program, Xbox users can avail selected games on sale. For instance, Microsoft is offering huge discounts for Battlefield titles. Battlefield 4 and Battlefield Hardline for Xbox One are now 85 percent cheaper than their original prices, according to the list posted on Major Nelson.

Deals With Gold also discounts the 10th Anniversary Edition of Forza Horizon 2 for Xbox One, making it available for only half of its original price until June 20. Discounts are also provided for the Xbox One title Forza: Motorsport 5: Racing Game of the Year Edition as well as Forza Motorsport 6 add-ons such as the Car Pass and Porsche Expansion. The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited is also part of this week’s deals with a 50 percent discount.

On the other hand, Xbox 360 games on sale this week include Crash Mind Over Mutant, Crysis 2, Crysis 3 and Forza Horizon 2. Furthermore, Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is essentially one of the free games Xbox Live Gold members can download this week as the listing said it has a 100 percent discount this week.
