Johnny Depp’s Children ‘Always Hated’ Amber Heard, Vanessa Paradis Defends Actor With Letter?

What do Johnny Depp’s children think of his messy split from wife Amber Heard?

As rumors of abuse and blackmail continue to swirl, Johnny Depp’s friends and family have come to his defense, including his 17-year-old daughter, Lily-Rose Depp, who recently shared a telling post on Instagram proclaiming Depp was not the monster Heard is painting him to be.

“My dad is the sweetest most loving person I know, he’s been nothing but a wonderful father to my little brother and I, and everyone who knows him would say the same,” Lily-Rose wrote to her fans and followers on May 29.

One day later, Lily-Rose shared a screenshot of a report by People Magazine, which revealed that the Los Angeles Police Department had determined on May 21 that there was “no evidence” of a domestic violence crime between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard, nor did Heard show any signs of abuse.

In addition to 17-year-old Lily-Rose, Johnny Depp is dad to 14-year-old John “Jack” Christopher Depp, both of whom he welcomed during his 14-year relationship with Vanessa Paradis.

Around the time of Lily-Rose’s posts, her mother, Paradis, reportedly spoke out. On May 29, Page Six revealed details of a letter that was believed to have been sent to TMZ by Paradis.

“Johnny Depp is the father of my two children, he is a sensitive, loving and loved person, and I believe with all my heart that these recent allegations being made are outrageous,” Paradis wrote in a handwritten letter in Los Angeles, according to TMZ. “In all the years I have known Johnny, he has never been physically abusive with me and this looks nothing like the man I lived with for 14 wonderful years.”

Johnny Depp’s ex-wife, Lori Anne Allison, also spoke out in his defense, telling TMZ last week that Depp “never got physical with her during their relationship… he never even screamed.”

Johnny Depp was married to Lori Anne Allison from 1983 to 1985.

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard began dating just one year after he and Paradis parted ways, and less than two years later, they became engaged. Then, last week, just days after Johnny Depp’s mother tragically died, Heard filed for divorce requesting spousal support.

Although Johnny Depp and Heard were married for just 15 months, they had no prenup, which isn’t good news for Depp and his alleged $400 million net worth.

According to another source, Johnny Depp’s children have never been on board with his relationship with Heard and “always hated her.”

“[Johnny Depp’s] kids hated Amber from the beginning,” a source told Radar Online on May 28. “They saw straight through her charade,” as did their mother.

“Vanessa absolutely detests her and always has,” the source explained.

And their feud goes both ways.

“Amber was constantly in competition with Vanessa because she knew that Vanessa was the love of Johnny’s life,” the insider continued.

Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis were together for 14 years, but they never tied the knot, and according to him, they didn’t need to.

“I never found myself needing that piece of paper… Marriage is really from soul to soul, heart to heart. You don’t need somebody to say, okay you’re married,” Johnny Depp explained during an interview years ago, via Radar Online.

Because Johnny Depp never married Paradis, many were shocked when he married Heard. Little did they know there would be so much drama that followed.
