Blake Shelton & Gwen Stefani Show Off Serious PDA Backstage At Billboard Music Awards

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani certainly aren’t hiding their relationship anymore.

Shortly after performing their new duet, “Go Ahead and Break My Heart,” at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards, Gwen Stefani took to Instagram to show off a slew of snaps of herself and Blake looking pretty loved-up and cozy backstage at the music award show.

“@blakeshelton @billboard #goaheadandbreakmyheart #vegas #whoknew?” Gwen captioned her first photo, which showed Stefani lovingly putting her arm around her fellow The Voice coach as she and Blake smiled for a backstage selfie.

Gwen then took to the social media site again just minutes later to post another shot of herself spending time with a smiling Shelton in Sin City, which she captioned, “#Vegas #GoAheadAndBreakMyHeart #ifimhonest @billboard.”

But Stefani wasn’t done yet when it came to the Billboard backstage PDA with Blake.

Gwen then returned to the photo sharing site again to share yet another backstage look at herself and Blake after their Billboard Music Awards performance, showing herself and Shelton spending some quality time together in their Las Vegas dressing room.

“#vegas #GoAheadAndBreakMyHeart @billboard,” Stefani captioned the third snap, which showed Blake wrapping his arm around Gwen’s legs to pull her close as she grinned from ear to ear.

Undoubtedly, Gwen and Blake have come a long way since the couple originally played coy about their relationship after rumors began swirling that Shelton and his fellow The Voice coach were officially an item back in October, 2015.

Now, the couple can’t seem to stop gushing over each other, as Blake demonstrated during his latest appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Speaking out about his and Gwen’s pretty surprising romance on the daytime talk show, Shelton opened up about his and Stefani’s relationship with Ellen and spoke out about what inspired him to write their new duet, “Go Ahead and Break My Heart.”

Admitting that he actually began writing the track “to impress” Gwen, Blake joked that his intention was to tell Stefani, “Hey, I’m writing a song about you!”

Blake Shelton then confessed to DeGeneres that he didn’t intend the track to really have any success, and admitted that it was originally intended to be a therapeutic way of making the two feel better following their respective 2015 splits from their spouses, Miranda Lambert and Gavin Rossdale.

“When we wrote the song we never saw it going there. I don’t know that we ever really saw it going anywhere,” Blake said of his and Gwen’s writing’s efforts. “I sent it to her, and she wrote the other half of the song,” Shelton said, “It’s like, ‘Oh, she just one-upped me.’ ”

Shelton’s latest gushing words about Gwen Stefani come just days after Blake admitted that he still “can’t believe” that he and Gwen are dating.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight before the twosome debuted their duet on The Voice on May 9, Shelton admitted that he and Stefani actually found it hard to stop smiling at each other while performing the song together in rehearsals.

“The hardest part was not smiling throughout the whole thing while we’re singing it because we can’t believe this is happening,” Shelton said of his and Gwen’s romance and subsequent duet. “We still can’t believe this is happening,” Blake admitted.

Blake Shelton also revealed in the interview that things are getting pretty serious for him and Gwen, confessing that he actually spends a lot of time with Stefani’s kids.

“They’re so used to me hanging around, it’s just Blake to them,” Shelton said, confirming that he and Stefani’s children appear to have a great relationship.
