Gwen Stefani And Blake Shelton Engaged, Planning To Welcome Twins? Find Out Why She’s Wearing A Diamond Ring

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are clearly quite serious about one another, but how serious are they?

On the cover of In Touch Weekly‘s latest issue, a headline reads, “Blake & Gwen Fertility Shocker: Twins!,” and in teasers below, it is noted that Gwen Stefani is hoping for two girls as she and Shelton hide their “secret engagement.”

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are “making their baby dreams come true,” an insider revealed to the magazine, according to a report by Gossip Cop on May 18. “Gwen is trying to conceive a baby.”

“Gwen’s been told by fertility doctors that she needs to relax her strict diet and workout regimen as she hopes to become pregnant with Blake’s child,” the source continued, adding that Gwen Stefani has also been told that IVF increases the chances of twins, which she would reportedly be “thrilled” with.

While Gwen Stefani may be open to starting a family with Shelton at some point, a rep for the singer spoke to Gossip Cop after the report surfaced, claiming Stefani wasn’t pregnant and that In Touch Weekly “just makes stuff up.”

As for an engagement, that may not be far off.

Last month, a source told Us Weekly that Shelton was ready to propose after deciding Gwen Stefani was “everything he wants.” According to the magazine, Gwen Stefani offers Shelton the family he never had with ex-wife Miranda Lambert, and he has never been so happy.

Shelton and Lambert were married for four years but had no children together, while Gwen Stefani and her former spouse, Gavin Rossdale, were married for 13 years and share three sons, Kingston, 9, Zuma, 7, and Apollo, 2.

At this stage, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton aren’t yet engaged, but according to a separate report, the mother-of-three is on board with the idea and hoping Shelton will get down on one knee soon. After Gwen Stefani was seen wearing a diamond ring on her ring finger during her performance at Saturday’s Wango Tango music festival in Los Angeles, rumors were swirling regarding her alleged engagement to Shelton, but apparently, she was just sending out a subtle hint.

“As far as the ring is concerned that was worn at Wango Tango, it is not an engagement ring from Blake but it is Gwen’s attempt at giving Blake the hint that he should ask soon because she is more than ready for it to happen,” a source told Hollywood Life on May 16. “During Wango Tango she didn’t talk to anyone about actually being engaged because she is not yet, but she talked about how things were going great with Blake and how she was looking forward to the future. She knows they both have their albums and their tour to worry about, and he has to deal with a few more weeks of The Voice but if he is ready to pop the question she is ready to say yes!”

Gwen Stefani and Shelton are both extremely busy with their careers. In addition to releasing her new album, This Is What The Truth Feels Like, earlier this year, Stefani is set to embark on a tour in July — all while she tends to her parenting duties with her boys. Meanwhile, Shelton’s album hits stores tomorrow and for the next few weeks, he’ll be filming the conclusion of The Voice Season 10 with his co-stars, Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine, and Pharrell Williams.
