‘Teen Mom 2’ Jeremy Calvert Reunites With Daughter, Stays Off Twitter Amid Leah Messer Drama

Jeremy Calvert of MTV’s Teen Mom 2 has just reunited with his daughter, 3-year-old Adalynn.

At the end of last month, Adalynn traveled to Los Angeles with her mother, Leah Messer, who was in town to film the Teen Mom 2 Season 7 Reunion with her co-stars, including Kailyn Lowry, Jenelle Evans, and Chelsea Houska. But now, after taking in the sights of L.A., including Disneyland, Adalynn has returned home to her dad.

“Gotta love nap time on rainy days & cartoons #daddysgirl,” Jeremy Calvert captioned a new photo on Instagram on May 3, which featured him and Adalynn in bed.

Jeremy Calvert and Messer have shared custody of their daughter since their divorce in 2015.

As Teen Mom 2 fans may recall, Jeremy Calvert announced plans to divorce Messer in October, 2014, after claiming to have caught her cheating on him with her ex-boyfriend, Robbie Kidd.

Although Jeremy Calvert was in Los Angeles last year to film the Teen Mom 2 Season 6 Reunion, his portion of the show wasn’t aired on MTV, and according to a recent report, he didn’t bother showing up to the Season 7 reunion last month.

“There was really no reason for Leah’s guys to go this time,” a source told The Ashley’s Reality Roundup. “Last time, [Jeremy Calvert]’s segments didn’t even air. It’s a huge effort to fly across country for them, since they are in West Virginia, arrange for child care, take off work, etc, just for a weekend of shooting. They don’t care about the free trip or anything at this point. They’d rather stay home.”

As the source revealed, Messer’s first husband, Corey Simms, was also absent.

Jeremy Calvert’s absence during filming wasn’t too much of a surprise as rumors regarding his possible exit from Teen Mom 2 have been swirling for the last 2 months.

“[Jeremy Calvert] is over it,” a second source told The Ashley’s Reality Roundup in March. “He’s tired of being attached to this show, and now that he and Leah are divorced, he doesn’t want to be part of her drama. He’s tired of dealing with all the negativity that comes from him being on the show, too.”

In addition to Jeremy Calvert’s own exit from the show, the source claimed he was also planning to have his daughter, Adalynn, removed from the series. And because both parents are required to sign off on their child’s involvement in the reality show, Jeremy Calvert’s failure to sign will mean fans won’t be seeing her at all on the show.

According to the report, MTV will likely attempt to convince Jeremy Calvert to keep himself and his daughter on the show, but because Jeremy Calvert has a high paying job already, it is highly unlikely he’ll take the bait. In fact, according to the source, Jeremy Calvert’s income from the show actually ends up being a bad thing when it comes time to do his taxes.

“Jeremy’s one of the only cast members with a ‘real’ job,” the source said. “He makes an impressive amount of money on his own, so money’s not really an issue for him like it is with some of the other cast members who completely rely on their Teen Mom 2 income to live off of.”

As drama with Messer continues on Teen Mom 2 due to her recent claims of wanting to get back with him and feeling that he wanted the same, Jeremy Calvert continues to date Brooke Wehr, who he met last year after parting ways with Messer.

After an episode of Teen Mom 2 featured Jeremy Calvert and his ex-wife having dinner together, Wehr was forced to defend their romance on Twitter and a short time later, Jeremy Calvert deleted his account. Since then, he has kept his social media feed limited to photos on Instagram.
