‘RHOBH’ Yolanda Foster Stays Focused On Kids Amid David Foster Divorce

Yolanda Foster isn’t letting her devastating divorce from David Foster get in the way of her parenting.

Although the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star is in the midst of her split after announcing her breakup in December 2015 and filing for divorce in January of this year, she has remained positive and has chosen to stay focused on her three kids, Gigi, Bella, and Anwar Hadid.

After returning home to Los Angeles from her Tahitian vacation earlier this week, Yolanda Foster took to both Twitter and Instagram, where she shared a number of posts about her children.

“My Love, My Life, My Happiness…….. #BlessingsOfMotherhood #UnconditionalLove,” Yolanda Foster wrote to fans on Instagram on April 6, along with a photo of herself and her youngest child, son Anwar.

Then, on April 7, Yolanda Foster shared a throwback photo of herself and her middle child, daughter Bella, with the caption, “TBT Precious memories with my baby girl……. @bellahadid #ModelInTheMaking #Playtime.”

Meanwhile, on Twitter, Yolanda Foster has shared a number of kid-related posts, including a pictorial featuring her oldest daughter, Gigi, and Gigi’s boyfriend, Zayn Malik, formerly of One Direction. Earlier this week, photos of Gigi and Zayn were shared by Vogue Magazine, where the couple was seen in Naples.

Throughout the sixth season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Yolanda Foster’s marriage to David has appeared stained, but it won’t be until next week’s finale that their split is confirmed.

During next week’s show, Yolanda Foster is seen chatting with a friend and saying that divorce is like death. She explains that if two people don’t make each other happy, they shouldn’t be together. Also seen talking about the divorce are Yolanda Foster’s co-stars, including Eileen Davidson, Lisa Vanderpump, and Kathryn Edwards.

Weeks ago, after David was seen talking to his friend, Tom, regarding his doubts about his marriage to Yolanda Foster, she took to her blog, where she spoke of her divorce and announced plans to return to the last name Hadid after her split is finalized.

“A divorce, regardless of how it happens, is still the closing of the chapter, a separation from your life partner,” Yolanda Foster wrote to fans last month. “We can’t help but feel the loss and wonder when and how things went wrong. Long-term illness brings challenging hurdles to a home, a family and a marriage. It affects many lives, but I have to believe we’ve all done the best we can. Rather [than] getting stuck on what went wrong, I choose to focus on what was right and cherish the many great memories we shared.”

“And finally, I will address the latest hot topic. My last name,” Yolanda Foster continued. “Let me share some of the ‘footprints’ leading up to this to help clarify unnecessary confusion. I chose to keep my married name for my children when their father and I separated in 2000. It was important to them and we decided this as a family. When I married David, I honored his and went by both. I was Yolanda Hadid-Foster, and now I have dropped Foster for obvious reasons. Honoring my children’s wishes on this subject is important to me.”
